City Center at White Plains is a large mixed-use development shopping complex in downtown White Plains, New York. [2]
It features two 35-story apartment and condominium towers, known as The Tower at City Place, 600,000-square-foot (60,000 m2) of retail, restaurants, entertainment space and parking facilities. It also includes the White Plains Performing Arts Center. A 15-screen cinema operated by National Amusements as Showcase Cinema de Lux previously occupied the building before its initial closure in October 2023. City Center's opening in 2003 was part of a redevelopment scheme to revitalize downtown White Plains after a decades-long period of real estate and business decline in common with economic issues experienced by similar-sized cities at the end of the twentieth century. On December 21, 2022, it was announced that the Galleria at White Plains would permanently close and be replaced with a mixed use site. The mall closed its doors on March 31, 2023 after 43 years.

New Rochelle Mall was an enclosed shopping mall located in the downtown business district of the suburban city of New Rochelle, Westchester County, New York. The clearing of the site on which the mall was built began in the mid-1960s as part of a downtown urban renewal project. Numerous homes, some businesses, and a cemetery and church were cleared away to create a four-blocks-long lot upon which the mall would be sited.The mall had its grand opening in 1968 and was initially a great success, attracting shoppers from across lower Westchester. A period of decline began in the 1980s, and the mall was shuttered in 1995, with the entire structure being demolished in 1998 and soon thereafter replaced by an entertainment center called New Roc City.
Ridge Hill, formerly known as Westchester's Ridge Hill is a mixed-use lifestyle center located between Interstate 87 and the Sprain Brook Parkway in Yonkers, New York. With its grand opening in 2011, Ridge Hill features a variety of retail stores, restaurants, condominiums, and offices. It was developed by Forest City Ratner Companies, Forest City's New York subsidiary. The center was built on an 84-acre parcel of land purchased from the City of Yonkers. Forest City later sold its mall business to Queensland Investment Corporation.
