Dazzie Dee is an American West Coast hip hop rapper and record producer who has collaborated and affiliated with artists such as Suga Free, Mausberg, DJ Quik, Ice Cube, Shade Sheist, [1] K-Dee, Kool G Rap, Coolio, Mixmaster Spade, Yo-Yo, Da Lench Mob, and many more. He released two solo albums in 1996, Where's My Receipt? and The Re-Birth, with the most known singles "Knee Deep", "Everybody Wants To Be A Gangsta", and "Where You From?". [2] [3] [4] [5]

Early life

Career

Lidell Williams was born on November 30, Los Angeles, California. He attended and graduated from Washington Preparatory High School in 1989. At 14 Williams met Dr. Dre, Sir Jinx and K-Dee. He's been a gang member of 107th Street UG/BC Crips set, [6] [7] according to Sheppard, member of Skool Boyz. [8] His first EP Turn It Loose was produced by Dr. Dre and Sir Jinx. He was one of the original members of the Lench Mob records, which it was formed by Ice Cube. Due to artistic differences, he left the label to record his first solo album Where's My Receipt released on Capitol Records in 1995. Then he made a re-issue for the album as The Re-Birth on Raging Bull Records in 1996. [9] It was produced by DJ Battlecat and had guest appearances from Ice Cube, Coolio, [10] K-Dee and Tha Chill from Compton's Most Wanted. It's considered by many as a West Coast classic. [11] [12]

Dazzie Dee (formerly known as Big "Saccs"), [13] is a G-funk rapper and an original former member of the legendary West Coast record label Lench Mob along with Ice Cube, K-Dee, [14] J-Dee, Yo-Yo, Chilly Chill, T-Bone, Shorty and more. The Killafornia Organization was a Hip hop supergroup that consisted of South Central Cartel, Compton's Most Wanted, Bonaphyde, Dazzie Dee, Killa, Tray Deee, Hard Times & Wize Guyz. Their debut album, Killafornia Organization, was released in 1996 by Killa Cali Records, Thug Records and produced by 3 Strikes Prod.

Christopher Bellard, also known by his stage name Young Maylay, is an American rapper, record producer and actor based in Los Angeles. He is best known for his portrayal of Carl "CJ" Johnson, the main character of the 2004 video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Anthony Wheaton, professionally known by his stage name Sir Jinx, is an American hip hop record producer and rapper from Los Angeles. He is a cousin of multi-platinum producer Dr. Dre. He began his career as a member of the C.I.A. in the mid-80s with Ice Cube and Kid Disaster. He produced tracks for the likes of Dazzie Dee, Westside Connection, Too Short, Yo-Yo, Tone Loc, Kool G Rap, CeCe Peniston, Xzibit and Kurupt among others, and also remixed songs for Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy and Toni Braxton.

Guerillas in tha Mist is the debut studio album by American hip hop group Da Lench Mob, who originally appeared on Ice Cube's debut solo album, AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted. The titular "Guerillas in tha Mist" was a hit at the release of the album. The album was produced by Ice Cube, who is also featured throughout the album though uncredited. The album peaked at number 24 on the Billboard 200, number 4 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America on December 18, 1992, indicating US sales of over 500,000 units. Lench Mob Records is a record label owned by Los Angeles rapper and actor Ice Cube. Founded as Street Knowledge Records, it was once home to many of Cube's former allies such as DJ Pooh, and Lench Mob's own Chilly Chill, Del the Funky Homosapien, Kam, Yo-Yo and the group Da Lench Mob. The label, established in 1990, remained dormant for a long period until a revival in 2006 with the release of Ice Cube's album Laugh Now, Cry Later. Planet of da Apes is the second and final studio album by American hip hop group Da Lench Mob. The group's final album, it was released on November 1, 1994, via Street Knowledge/Priority Records. Its title is a reference to Planet of the Apes. Audio production was handled by Ice Cube, Mr. Woody, Dr. Jam, Madness 4 Real, Quincy Jones III, and 88 X Unit. It featured guest appearances from K-Dee, Mack 10 and Yo-Yo. The album peaked at number 81 on the Billboard 200.
