Beauregard Parish is a parish located in the U.S. state of Louisiana. As of the 2020 census, the population was 36,549. The parish seat is DeRidder. The parish was formed on January 1, 1913.

As of the 2010 census DeRidder had a population of 10,578. It is the smaller principal city of the DeRidder-Fort Johnson South CSA, a Combined Statistical Area that includes the Fort Johnson South and DeRidder micropolitan areas, which had a combined population of 87,988 at the 2010 census.

Beauregard Parish Jail is a former jailhouse in DeRidder, Louisiana built in 1914 in the Gothic Revival architecture style. It is referred to as the Gothic jail or the Hanging jail. The jail is owned by the Beauregard Parish Police Jury. The Beauregard Parish Rehabilitation Committee serves under the direction of the Police Jury with the primary duty of the preserving the jail. The Beauregard Tourist Commission has a vested interest in the jail and other historic sites and has been involved in many aspects of securing a continued future of the jail.
The Beauregard Parish Courthouse is located in DeRidder, Louisiana, the location of the parish seat. The courthouse was built at the same time as the Beauregard Parish Jail, by the same people, and completed around the same time in 1915, as directed by the Beauregard Parish Police Jury.

The two school buildings, located on the original property at the corner of Martin Luther King Drive and Alexandria Street, were the first African-American related structures in southwestern Louisiana to be listed in the National Register of Historic Places, on March 1, 1996.

First United Methodist Church is a historic church located at the junction of North Pine Street and West Port Street in DeRidder, Louisiana. The two story Classical Revival tan brick building was built in 1915 and is now part of a church complex occupying an entire city block. The facade portico with Ionic columns and the glass windows have unchanged since the time of construction, and the church exterior is very well preserved. A new church was built in the 1960s on the southern portion of the block and the historic church interior was deeply altered in order to host a basketball court.
