On September 20, 2022, EV.ca Inc. was incorporated in Canada, [3] [4] listing its founder Joel Li, an alumnus of the Yale University, [2] on its board of directors. The parent company, just two days later, was incorporated in Delaware, United States on September 22, 2022, as EV.com Inc. [5]
