Etihad Towers is a complex of buildings with five towers in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates.

Usage

The towers are located opposite the Emirates Palace hotel and feature offices, apartments and a hotel. [6] The estimated cost for the construction was 2.5 billion Dirhams. [7] Towers 2 and 5 topped out in November 2010. [8]

A year later, in November 2011, the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers Hotel which belongs to Jumeirah Group was opened in Tower 1. Tori No Su Japanese restaurant opened within the hotel in 2012. The hotel has been rebranded to Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers which opened doors in Tower 1 on October 1, 2020. [9] The adjacent Tower 2 is (as of December 2012) the tallest building on Abu Dhabi island and the second tallest in Abu Dhabi after Sky Tower on Al Reem Island. Tower 2 has an observation deck on the 75th floor which is accessible from the hotel via a lower level linking podium. [10]

The towers were used as a filming location for the 2015 film Furious 7 . In the film, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) steal a Lykan HyperSport and drive it through three of the towers. [11]

Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island that is 280 m (920 ft) from Jumeirah Beach and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. The shape of the structure is designed to resemble the sail of a ship. It has a helipad near the roof, at a height of 210 m (689 ft) above ground.

The Emirates Office Tower, is a 54-floor office building along Sheikh Zayed Road in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Connected with the 56-floor Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel by a retail boulevard, the two towers form what is commonly referred to as the Emirates Towers complex. The tower has a total structural height of 354.6 m (1,163 ft) and roof height of 311 m (1,020 ft), making it the 55th-tallest building in the world. The Emirates Office Tower One is taller than the neighbouring Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, but has two fewer floors. Construction of the building was completed on November 3, 1999.

Jumeirah Emirates Hotel Tower, also known as Emirates Tower Two, is a 56-floor hotel in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The hotel includes 40 luxury suites and is operated by Jumeirah Group. Connected with the Emirates Office Tower by a retail boulevard, the two towers form the Emirates Towers complex. At a structural height of 309 m (1,014 ft), Emirates Towers Hotel is the smaller of the two sister towers. It ranks as the 48th-tallest building in the world. It is the world's third-tallest all-hotel building. Construction, by BESIX subsidiary Six Construct, was completed on 15 April 2000.

Sky Tower Abu Dhabi is a 292-metre tall skyscraper with 74 floors in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is located on Al Reem Island and includes office and residential space. Construction was completed in 2010 when it was the city's largest building but has been overtaken by The Landmark since, see also Abu Dhabi skyscrapers. HHHR Tower, also known as the Blue Tower, is a supertall skyscraper on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The construction of the 72-floor, 317-metre (1,040 ft) building started in 2006 and was completed in 2010. Designed by architect Al Hashemi, the building is primarily residential, with some commercial uses.

The World Trade Center Abu Dhabi is a complex of two skyscrapers in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Construction of these towers was scheduled to end in 2010, though the 2008 financial crisis pushed the project completion date to 2014. The complex includes two malls, and one Courtyard by Marriott hotel. The complex was initially planned to house three skyscrapers, but the 2008 crisis forced the contractors to withdraw construction of the Hotel Tower, the result being two skyscrapers.

Abu Dhabi Plaza is a mixed-use development complex in the very center of Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. As of 2022, the tallest tower of Abu Dhabi Plaza at 311 metres (1,020 ft) is the tallest building in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The Landmark is a postmodern supertall skyscraper in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The mixed-use project stands 324 metres (1,063 ft) tall with 72 floors above ground and five basement levels. Construction on the skyscraper started in late 2006 and the building was completed in 2013. It is the second tallest building in Abu Dhabi behind the Burj Mohammed bin Rashid in the Central Market Project World Trade Center complex.
