FIBA EuroBasket 2001 qualification

Last updated

Qualification for the 2001 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2001 , took place between 18 May 1998 [1] and 27 January 2001. [2] A total of eight teams qualified for the tournament. The top eight teams from EuroBasket 1999 earned direct qualification.

A total of 32 teams participated. Competition consisted of three stages:
