Global Mechanic Media is an interdisciplinary creative studio headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is known for creating various digital and traditional media, feature and short films, television series, commercials, games, installations, interactive experiences, titles, and original photography using many different techniques. Global Mechanic was founded in 2000 by Creative Director, Bruce Alcock and is currently owned with his wife, CEO Tina Ouellette. Specialties include animation, branding and design. [1] [2]

Coca-Cola Carbonated soft drink

Coca-Cola, or Coke, is a carbonated soft drink manufactured by the Coca-Cola Company. Originally marketed as a temperance drink and intended as a patent medicine, it was invented in the late 19th century by John Stith Pemberton in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1888 Pemberton sold Coca-Cola's ownership rights to Asa Griggs Candler, a businessman, whose marketing tactics led Coca-Cola to its dominance of the global soft-drink market throughout the 20th and 21st century. The drink's name refers to two of its original ingredients: coca leaves and kola nuts. The current formula of Coca-Cola remains a closely guarded trade secret; however, a variety of reported recipes and experimental recreations have been published. The secrecy around the formula has been used by Coca-Cola in its marketing as only a handful of anonymous employees know the formula. The drink has inspired imitators and created a whole classification of soft drink: colas.

Nickelodeon is an American pay television channel which launched on April 1, 1979, as the first cable channel for children. It is run by Paramount Global through its networks division's Kids and Family Group. Its programming is primarily aimed at children aged 2–17, along with a broader family audience through its program blocks.

Fuze Beverage

Fuze Beverage, commercially referred to as simply Fuze, is a manufacturer of teas and non-carbonated fruit drinks enriched with vitamins. Currently the brand consists of five vitamin-infused lines: Slenderize, Refresh, Tea, Defensify, Magdalotopuss, and Vitalize. The use of vitamins, amino acids, and herbs, and alternative sweeteners such as crystalline fructose places Fuze products in what is known in the industry as the new age beverage category.

OK Soda Experimental soft drink

OK Soda is a discontinued soft drink created by The Coca-Cola Company in 1993 that courted the American Generation X demographic with unusual advertising tactics, including neo-noir design, chain letters and deliberately negative publicity. After the soda did not sell well in select test markets, it was officially declared out of production in 1995 before reaching nationwide distribution. The drink's slogan was "Things are going to be OK."

MTV (European TV channel) Pan-European pay TV network

MTV is an international pay television network launched as MTV Europe on 1 August 1987. Initially, the channel served all regions within Europe being one of the very few channels that targeted the entire European continent. The channel has been regionalised since 1997.

<i>The URL with Phred Show</i>

The URL with Phred Show is an American children's television series, produced by Nickelodeon for its sister channel Noggin. It is a spin-off series to Phred on Your Head Show, an earlier Noggin series with the same animated host: a small, green character named Phred. Premieres of The URL with Phred Show aired from September 10, 2001 until 2002, and reruns aired until 2004. The show is presented as an art showcase, and each episode follows Phred as he presents a mix of viewer-submitted artwork and messages from Noggin's website.

Nick Jr. is a British pay television channel owned and operated by a joint venture between Paramount Networks UK & Australia and Sky Group. The channel is aimed at pre-school children.

Nick Jr. is a 24-hour children's channel in Australia designed for pre-schoolers. Nick Jr. was a morning programming block on Nickelodeon until 2004, when Foxtel launched it as a full 24-hour kids channel. The channel is run by Foxtel Networks, under license from Paramount Networks UK & Australia, and is also available on Optus Television and FetchTV.

Ace Norton is a Japanese American filmmaker and artist born and raised in Venice, California. Norton creates visuals on a variety of media platforms including music videos, commercials, fashion films, and movies. Norton also is known for his drawings, sculptures, and frequently commissioned installation work.

Bruce Alcock is a Vancouver-based, Newfoundland-born multimedia filmmaker, creative director, and founder of animation studios Cuppa Coffee Studio and Global Mechanic. Born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, he has directed several animated short films including At The Quinte Hotel (2005), an animated film set to a 1968 CBC Radio recording of Al Purdy reading his poem Quinte Hotel. The film, which combines stop-motion and traditional animation, received the Canadian Film Institute Award for best Canadian animation at the Ottawa International Animation Festival.

This is a list of winners of the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Performer In An Animated Program. The award was presented between 1995 and 2021. It recognized a continuing or single voice-over performance in a series or a special. The performance generally originated from a Children's Animated, Special Class Animated Program.

The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Series was an Emmy award given to television programming aimed towards children. Children's television had been recognized at the Emmys since the inaugural year. In 1995, a separate award for pre-school children's television was created, and the two categories had been recognized since then. Starting in 2018, a distinction between children's series and educational series was created, resulting in two separate categories. In November 2021, it was announced that all Daytime Emmy categories honoring children's programming will be retired in favor of a separate Children's & Family Emmy Awards ceremony that will be held starting in 2022.

Nick Jr. American television channel aimed at preschoolers

Nick Jr. is an American pay television channel spun off from Nickelodeon's long-running programming block of the same name. It is run by Paramount Global through its networks division's Kids and Family Group. The channel launched on September 28, 2009, and primarily targets preschoolers. Its lineup features a mix of originally-produced programming, along with series from the Nickelodeon weekday block; because of the two entities, Nick Jr. is known on-air as "the Nick Jr. Channel" to avoid confusion, especially at times of day where both services are carrying preschool programming.

<i>The Lost Island of Alanna</i> Promotional video game

The Lost Island of Alanna is a branded, graphic adventure video game and marketing initiative conceived and directed by Dale Leary and developed with partner Michael Hall of Raintree Media for Coca-Cola Cherry. The game was produced for the brand in the Fall of 1997 and released in the Spring of 1998.

Noggin (brand) Entertainment brand

Noggin is an entertainment brand launched on February 2, 1999, as a joint venture between Nickelodeon and Sesame Workshop. The brand originated as a cable television channel and interactive website, both centered around the concepts of imagination, creativity, and education. Since its launch, the brand has expanded to include a mobile streaming app and several defunct programming blocks worldwide.

The N Television programming block

The N was a nighttime programming block on the Noggin television channel, aimed at preteens and teenagers. It was launched on April 1, 2002, by Viacom and Sesame Workshop. Before the block's introduction, Noggin aired tween shows as part of its daytime lineup, such as A Walk in Your Shoes, Sponk!, and Big Kids. In 2002, Noggin restructured its daytime lineup to cater to preschool children. Its older-targeting shows moved to The N, joining several acquired and syndicated shows from Viacom and Sesame's libraries.
