HD 115404 is a binary star system located in the constellation Coma Berenices. Parallax measurements made by Hipparcos put the system at 36 light-years, or 11 parsecs, away. [12] The combined apparent magnitude of the system is 6.52, [11] with the magnitudes of the components being 6.66 and 9.50. [2]

The primary component, designated A, is a K-type main sequence star. [5] It is about 70% as massive as the Sun, and is 0.76 times as wide. [9] Its companion is a red dwarf (M0.5 V). [6] It has 54.2% the mass of the Sun, and is 0.55 times as wide. [10] The two stars orbit each other every 770 years, and are separated by about 8. [8] The system is thought to be fairly old, at 5.4 to 13.5 billion years old. [9]

In 2022, two exoplanets, Neptunian and super-Jovian in mass, were discovered in orbit around the primary star using a combination of radial velocity and astrometry. [13]

p Eridani is a binary star system in the constellation of Eridanus whose distance from the Sun is 26.7 light-years based upon parallax. It was found to be a double star in December 1825 by James Dunlop in Australia at his home at Paramatta, now spelt Parramatta. It is visible to the naked eye as a dim, orange-hued star. The system is moving further from the Earth with a heliocentric radial velocity of about +20 km/s.

IC 2391 is an open cluster in the constellation Vela consisting of hot, young, blueish stars, some of which binaries and one of which is a quadruple. Persian astronomer A. a.-R. Al Sufi first described it as "a nebulous star" in c. 964. It was re-found by Abbe Lacaille and cataloged as Lac II 5.

HD 30177 is an 8th magnitude star located approximately 182 light-years away in the constellation Dorado. The star is a yellow dwarf, a type of yellow star that fuses hydrogen in its core. Since if this star is a late G-type, it is cooler and less massive than the Sun, but larger in radius. It is 1.8 times older than the Sun. This star system contains two known extrasolar planets.

HD 4113 is a dual star system in the southern constellation of Sculptor. It is too faint to be viewed with the naked eye, having an apparent visual magnitude of 7.88. The distance to this star, as estimated by parallax measurements, is 137 light years. It is receding away from the Sun with a radial velocity of +5 km/s.

36 Ursae Majoris is a double star in the northern constellation of Ursa Major. With an apparent visual magnitude of 4.8, it can be seen with the naked eye in suitable dark skies. Based upon parallax measurements, this binary lies at a distance of 42 light-years from Earth.

UX Arietis is a triple star system located in the northern zodiacal constellation of Aries. Based upon parallax measurements from the Gaia satellite, it is roughly 165 light years away. The primary, component Aa, is a variable star of the RS CVn type. The variability of the star is believed due to a combination of cool star spots and warm flares, set against the baseline quiescent temperature of the stellar atmosphere. The variability appears to be cyclical with a period of 8−9 years. The star varies in brightness from magnitude 6.35 to 6.71, meaning it may be intermittently visible to the unaided eye under ideal dark-sky conditions.

HD 135438 is a K-type giant star in the northern constellation of Boötes. With an apparent magnitude of 6.0, it lies about 650 light years away.

HAT-P-4 is a wide binary star consisting of a pair of G-type main-sequence stars in the constellation of Boötes. It is also designated BD+36°2593.

HD 139357 is a 6th magnitude K-type giant star located approximately 370 light years from Earth, visible in the constellation Draco. Its mass is four thirds that of the Sun but its radius is 11.47 times larger. However, despite being a giant star, it is only 3.07 billion years old, which is younger than the Sun.

GSC 02620-00648 is a double star in the constellation Hercules. The brighter of the pair is a magnitude 12 star located approximately 1,660 light-years away. This star is about 1.18 times as massive as the Sun.

HD 126614 is a trinary star system in the equatorial constellation of Virgo. The primary member, designated component A, is host to an exoplanetary companion. With an apparent visual magnitude of 8.81, it is too faint to be seen with the naked eye. The system is located at a distance of 239 light years from the Sun based on parallax measurements, but is drifting closer with a radial velocity of −33 km/s.

1 Puppis is a single star in the southern constellation of Puppis. It lies in the northern part of the constellation at a distance of about 790 ly, east of Aludra in Canis Major and just north of the white supergiant, 3 Puppis. This object is visible to the naked eye as a faint, red-hued star with an apparent visual magnitude of 4.59. It is moving further from the Earth with a heliocentric radial velocity of +32.4 km/s.

ADS 7251 is a binary star system 6.33 parsecs from the Sun. The components are near-identical red dwarfs separated by 17″ in 2019.

EQ Pegasi is a nearby binary system of two red dwarfs. Both components are flare stars, with spectral types of M4Ve and M6Ve respectively, and a current separation between the components of 5.8 arcseconds. The system is at a distance of 20.4 light-years, and is 950 million years old. The primary star is orbited by one known exoplanet.

7 Tauri is a multiple star in the northern constellation of Taurus. It has a combined apparent visual magnitude of 5.95, so, according to the Bortle scale, it is faintly visible from suburban skies at night. Measurements made with the Gaia spacecraft show an annual parallax shift of 5.5 mas, which is equivalent to a distance of around 593 light years from the Sun.
