This town is located in the deep Mesa River valley, at the feet of the Sierra de Solorio range, Sistema Ibérico. There are three spas in the municipality, two are located close to the river. [2]

The vineyards are found on the south facing slopes of the Sierra de la Virgen range at heights of between 550 m and 800 m above sea level.
