Ratón Pass is a 7,834 ft (2,388 m) elevation mountain pass on the Colorado–New Mexico border in the western United States. It is located on the eastern side of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains between Trinidad, Colorado and Raton, New Mexico, approximately 180 miles (290 km) northeast of Santa Fe. Ratón is Spanish for "mouse". The pass crosses the line of volcanic mesas that extends east from the Sangre de Cristo Mountains along the state line, and furnishes the most direct land route between the valley of the Arkansas River to the north and the upper valley of the Canadian River, leading toward Santa Fe, to the south. The pass now carries Interstate 25 and railroad tracks.
There are more than 1,500 properties and historic districts in Colorado listed on the National Register of Historic Places. They are distributed over 63 of Colorado's 64 counties; only the City and County of Broomfield has none.
Ammunition Igloo was a bunker used for arms storage at Camp George West, Golden, Colorado. It was built in 1940 of stone, supported by a soil-covered concrete arch. Rubble masonry, built of basalt, was used for the parapet-equipped facade.
Olde Town Arvada, the 15.1 acres (6.1 ha) historic district in Arvada, Colorado bounded by Ralston Road, Teller Road, Grandview Avenue and Yukon Street. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. The listing included 42 contributing buildings.
The McGraw Ranch, also known as the Indian Head Ranch, the =Y Ranch and the =X Ranch, was established in the Cow Creek valley near Estes Park, Colorado by Peter J. Pauley, Jr., who built a barn at his 160-acre (0.65 km2) =Y Ranch in 1884, running 2500 head of cattle on the land. The land was sold in 1897 to Hugo S. Miller, who worked with Henry C. Rouse to expand the property to a thousand acres (4 km²). In 1907 Miller and his wife inherited the lands from Rouse and were visited by Joh J. and Irene McGraw, who leased the property the next summer and purchased it in 1909, changing the brand to =X.
The Timber Creek Road Camp Barn was built in 1931 to support the construction of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. The design is attributed to Thomas Chalmers Vint of the National Park Service Branch of Plans and Designs. The barn was moved in 2002 and used for storage. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, and was delisted in 2022.

Greenmead Historical Park, also known as Greenmead Farms, is a 3.2-acre (1.3 ha) historic park located at 38125 Base Line Rd., Livonia, Michigan. It includes the 1841 Greek Revival Simmons House, six other structures contributing to the historic nature of the property, and additional buildings moved from other locations. Greenmead Farms was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1971 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
Van Denbergh-Simmons House is a historic home located at Colonie in Albany County, New York. The house was in three phases: the northeast section was built between about 1720 and 1760; the northwest section about 1790; and the south section about 1847. The northeast section is a 1+1⁄2-story Dutch house with a 1-story porch. The northwest section is a 1+1⁄2-story ell containing a large kitchen and bee hive oven. The south section is a 2-story Italian Villa style addition with a hipped roof and large square tower at the northwest corner. Also on the property are the remains of a barn foundation.
Boulder Crescent Place Historic District is a historic area in Colorado Springs, Colorado along West Boulder and Cascade Avenue near the intersection of the two streets. It is a National Register of Historic Places listing and is on the Colorado State Register of Historic Properties.
Appleton Farm is a historic farmstead at 76 Brush Brook Road in Dublin, New Hampshire. It has housed Del Rossi's Trattoria for many years. It was built in the 1780s by the son of one of Dublin's early settlers, and remained in the family until 1950. The house and adjacent barn were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
The Rufus Piper Homestead is a historic house on Pierce Road in Dublin, New Hampshire. The house is a well-preserved typical New England multi-section farmhouse, joining a main house block to a barn. The oldest portion of the house is one of the 1+1⁄2-story ells, a Cape style house which was built c. 1817 by Rufus Piper, who was active in town affairs for many years. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The home of Rufus Piper's father, the Solomon Piper Farm, also still stands and is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Townsend Farm is a historic farmstead on East Harrisville Road in Dublin, New Hampshire. Built about 1780 and enlarged about 1850 and again at the turn of the 20th century, it is one of Dublin's older houses, notable as the home and studio of artist George DeForest Brush, one of the leading figures of Dublin's early 20th-century art colony. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
Foscue and Simmons Plantations, also known as Foscue Plantation, is a historic plantation house and adjoining farm complexes and national historic district located near Pollocksville, Jones County, North Carolina. The district encompasses seven contributing buildings, four contributing sites, one contributing structure, and one contributing object. The Federal style Foscue Plantation House was built about 1821-1825 and is separately listed. Among the other contributing resources are the farm landscape, Foscue Cemetery (1849-1918), Brick Vault Site (1814-1853), four tobacco barns, Marl Pits/Ponds, Italianate style Simmons Cottage, Simmons Tenant House #1, Marl Dredger, and bungalow style Christopher Stephens Simmons House.
Arthur Simmons Stables Historic District, also known as the Clark & Potts Combination Sales Barn, Lee Brothers Barn, B. O. Tucker Stables, and Dincara Stables, is a historic stable complex and national historic district located at Mexico, Audrain County, Missouri. The district encompasses six contributing buildings and five contributing structures built between 1884 and 1954. They include the Arthur Simmons Stables, Maternity Stables (1949), Hook Barn, Farrier's Shed, Storage Shed, Grain Bin #1 and #2, East and West Tracks, Wood Fencing, and the Arthur Simmons House (1954). The stables were one of most recognized training centers in the American Saddlebred industry.
The Remington–Williamson Farm is a historic farm property at 4582 Main Road in Huntington, Vermont. The farm was established in 1830 by Jeremiah Remington, and was in the hands of his descendants into the 1980s. The current 30 acres (12 ha) include Remington's original 1830 brick farmhouse, and a well-preserved 1895 bank barn. The farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
The Colorado Salt Works, on Salt Works Ranch in Park County, Colorado near Hartsel, Colorado, is a site where salt springs flow and were used in salt harvesting in the late 1860s. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
The Knearl School, at 314 S. Clayton St. in Brush, Colorado, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. It is a red brick one-story building, about 58 by 30 feet in plan, built in 1911. It was used as a school until 1971.
The Anderson Barn near Johnstown in Weld County, Colorado, also known as the Carlson Barn, is a gambrel-roofed ornamental block building built in 1913. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
