Kathy Brock (born July 24, 1959) is a former news anchor at WLS-TV, Chicago's ABC affiliate. She was a co-anchor of the station's 6 pm and 10 pm news broadcasts alongside Alan Krashesky.
Brock grew up working on the family farm in Pasco, Washington. She graduated from Pasco High School in 1977. Brock later received her bachelor's degree in journalism from Washington State University, where she was president of her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma and served as Rush Chairman for the Intra Fraternity Council. Brock now resides in Florida with her husband Douglas P. Regan, Co-Chairman and Founding Partner of Cresset. She has two sons, Colton and Matthew Staab, and two step-daughters, Maggie and Katie Regan. [1]
Before joining ABC 7 Chicago, Brock spent six years as an anchor/reporter at KUTV-TV in Salt Lake City, Utah. She also worked at KBCI-TV in Boise, Idaho; KEPR-TV, in Pasco, Washington; and KWSU-TV in Pullman, Washington.
Brock joined WLS-TV in 1990 as a co-anchor of the morning newscast with Alan Krashesky. From 1993 - 1998, she co-anchored the 6 pm newscast with Floyd Kalber. Since 1998, she has co-anchored it with Alan Krashesky. [2] In 2003, after Diann Burns left ABC 7, Brock was promoted to the 10 pm newscast alongside Ron Magers. This is currently the No. 1 rated and most watched newscast in Chicago. [3] [4] After 13 years together, Magers retired in May 2016 and Brock teamed up at 10 with Alan Krashesky.
On May 30, 2018, media critic Robert Feder reported that Brock is stepping away from ABC7 after 28 years at the station. In her note to colleagues, she said "I want to explore other passions and see what life's like off the night shift." On June 12, 2018, current 5pm and 7pm anchor and 10pm contributing anchor Cheryl Burton was named Brock's successor on the 10pm show. 11am and 4pm anchor Judy Hsu was named the new 6pm anchor. [5]

Lauren Cohn is a radio host at WLS in Chicago. Cohn previously worked as a morning anchor at WLS-TV in Chicago in 1993. She later moved to be an Anchor/general assignment reporter at WBBM-TV in 1998. Then, she worked for WFLD as a general assignment and health reporter. In February 2004, she moved to WCAU-TV in Philadelphia where she worked as an anchor/reporter until March 2007. While with WCAU she was nominated for the Best Anchor Emmy in 2004 and 2005. Then she moved back to Chicago to anchor the 10pm Newscast at Fox News Chicago. On August 30, 2010 it was announced that she would be joining WTXF-TV in Philadelphia as the main anchor. She left WTXF in January 2013.

She is best known for her years as a prime-time weekday anchor for two Chicago television stations. Burns appeared in several major movies and at least one television dramatic series. She was the first African-American woman to anchor the prime-time news in Chicago. She entered the Chicago TV market as a reporter after a successful career as newspaper journalist. She earned an advanced degree in journalism at Columbia University in New York.

She also currently anchors the digital 7 p.m. newscast also alongside Rob Elgas.
Linda Yu is a Chinese-American former news anchor and author. Yu is best known as co-anchor on the Eyewitness newscast for WLS-TV in Chicago, Illinois from April 1984 until November 2016. Yu became Chicago's first Asian–American broadcast journalist when she began her news career in Chicago at WMAQ-TV in 1979. For her broadcasting work, Yu has received a total of five local Emmy Awards including one for her report examining the aftermath of 9/11 in 2001. In 1984, Yu was honored with a National Gold Medal from the National Conference of Community and Justice for her documentary, "The Scars of Belfast".
Sylvia E. Perez is an American news anchor. Based in Chicago, Perez currently anchors the weekday editions and special segments of Good Day Chicago on WFLD-TV since October 2016. From 1989 until 2013, Perez co–anchored the 11AM newscast on Chicago's WLS-TV alongside Linda Yu. Joel Daly was an American news anchor, most known for serving as an anchor for WLS-TV in Chicago, Illinois, for 38 years from 1967 to 2005. Daly served as co-anchor on the 4 pm news broadcast alongside Linda Yu from January 1985 until his retirement in May 2005. Daly was inducted into the Silver Circle, a group of elite Chicago broadcasters, in 2003. Following his retirement from news broadcasting in 2005, from March 2007 until October 2013, Daly served as spokesperson for Chicago's Cook County federal courthouse.
