The Billboard Global 200 is a chart that ranks the best-performing songs globally. Its data, published by Billboard magazine and compiled by MRC Data, is based on digital sales and online streaming from over 200 territories worldwide. Another similar chart is the Billboard Global Excl. US chart, which follows the same formula except it covers all territories excluding the US. The two charts launched on September 19, 2020.

On the Global 200, seven singles reached number one in 2020. Nine artists—Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, BTS, Jawsh 685, Jason Derulo, Ariana Grande, Bad Bunny, Jhay Cortez, and Mariah Carey—reached the top of the chart, all for the first time. BTS scored three number-one singles, the most of any artist, and spent a combined five weeks on top of the chart. Their song "Dynamite" tied with "WAP" by Cardi B featuring Megan Thee Stallion and "Dákiti" by Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez as the longest-running number-one of the year, each leading the chart for three weeks.

"Dakiti" is a song by Puerto Rican rappers Bad Bunny and Jhayco. It was released on October 30, 2020 through Rimas Entertainment as the lead single from Bad Bunny's third studio album, El Último Tour Del Mundo. The island-tinged song simultaneously debuted in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100, and number one on the Hot Latin Songs chart, becoming the first song in history to do so. It peaked at number five on the Hot 100, and simultaneously topped both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S., the first Spanish-language song to do so. It is the 75th most played song on Spotify with 1,663,182,750 streams and has more than 2.8 billion total views on YouTube and Spotify as of March 2023. "Tarot" is a song by Puerto Rican singers and rappers Bad Bunny and Jhayco from the former's fifth studio album Un Verano Sin Ti (2022), on which it appears as the seventh track. It was released on May 6, 2022, by Rimas Entertainment alongside the rest of the album. The song was written by the performers while its production was handled by Tainy, La Paciencia, Albert Hype and Jota Rosa. This marks the fourth time Bad Bunny and Jhayco collaborated each other, following the remix version of "No Me Conoce", "Cómo Se Siente" and "Dakiti". The song's title refers to the pack of playing cards of the same name.
