"Bloody Stream" is the debut single by Japanese artist Coda. The song, written by Saori Kodama and composed by Toshiyuki O'mori, is used as the second opening theme for the 2012 anime adaptation of the 1987 manga JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, representing its second arc Battle Tendency. The song is noted as having an emotional and fashionable tune, with the husky yet charming voice of the song vocalist adding a further stylish nature to the song as a whole. Jun Yamamoto of Billboard said that he felt that the horns and funky sound of the song complement the story of Joseph Joestar and his battle against the Pillar Men Esidisi, Wamuu, and Kars, further mesmerizing him and drawing him into a "bizarre world".

"Jiyū e no Shingeki" is the second single by Japanese band Linked Horizon. It was released on July 10, 2013 through Pony Canyon. The single has been certified Platinum by the RIAJ for sales in the band's home country of Japan, with over 250,000 copies sold, peaking at number two on the Oricon chart. Its tracks "Guren no Yumiya" and "Jiyū no Tsubasa" are used as the opening themes of the 2013 anime adaptation of Attack on Titan. "Guren no Yumiya" was a hit, peaking at number one on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 and fourth place on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales, and received a digital download song certification of Double Platinum from the RIAJ for sales of 500,000.

"Yoru ni Kakeru" is the debut single by Japanese duo Yoasobi. It was released on December 15, 2019, through Sony Music Entertainment Japan. The song was based on Thanatos no Yūwaku, a short story written by Mayo Hoshino, and published on the novel-centered social media Monogatary.com, which won the Sony Music Award, and the Grand Prize from Monocon 2019.

"Top" is a song recorded by South Korean boy band Stray Kids. It was released in three languages. The Korean version and English version were released digitally on May 3 and 20, 2020, respectively, through JYP Entertainment, and distributed by Dreamus. The Japanese version was released on June 3, as their first Japanese single, titled "Top -Japanese ver.-", through Epic Records Japan. The song was featured as an opening theme song for the anime television series Kami no Tō -Tower of God-, together with its B-side "Slump", as an ending theme song.

"Homura" is a song by Japanese singer LiSA. It is the singer's seventeenth single and includes three other tracks. The song was released on October 14, 2020, by Sacra Music and Sony Music Japan. It serves as the theme song for the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train (2020). "Homura" won the grand prize at the 62nd Japan Record Awards in 2020.
