<i>Yotsuba&!</i> Japanese manga series

Yotsuba&! is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kiyohiko Azuma, the creator of Azumanga Daioh. It has been serialized since March 2003 in the monthly magazine Dengeki Daioh by ASCII Media Works, formerly MediaWorks, and has since been collected into 15 tankōbon volumes. It depicts the everyday adventures of a young girl named Yotsuba as she learns about the world around her, guided by her adoptive father, their neighbors, and their friends. Several characters in Yotsuba&! were previously featured in a one-shot manga by Azuma called "Try! Try! Try!" The phrase Yotsuba to means "Yotsuba and," a fact reflected in the chapter titles, most of which take the form "Yotsuba and [something]."

m&c! Publishing or better known as m&c! is a publishing company in Indonesia. The company has its roots on Komik Majalah in the 1980s, which often published various comics from foreign publishers. In 2003, m&c! was established as a publishing company and is part of the Retail and Publishing Division of the Kompas Gramedia Group (KGG). m&c! headquartered in the Kompas Gramedia Palmerah building, located in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

Chuang Yi Publishing Pte Ltd. was a publishing company based in Singapore that specialized in producing domestic and imported comics and comics-related merchandise in English and simplified Chinese. Chuang Yi distributed all or some of its products in Singapore, India, Malaysia and the Philippines. Distribution to Australia and New Zealand occurred through Madman Entertainment and used Australian English translations.

Glénat Editions SA is a French publisher with its head office in Grenoble. Their products include comic albums and manga in France, Benelux, and in the past Spain; it was founded by Jacques Glénat. The Benelux subsidiary, Glénat Benelux N.V., is located in Brussels, Belgium. The Switzerland subsidiary, Glénat Editions (Suisse) SA, has its headquarters in Nyon. The Spanish subsidiary had its head office in Barcelona.

<i>Shirahime-Syo: Snow Goddess Tales</i> Manga

Shirahime-Syo: Snow Goddess Tales is a supernatural manga by Clamp, a creative team made up by Satsuki Igarashi, Nanase Ohkawa, Tsubaki Nekoi and Mokona. It consists of three short stories, framed by a man's encounter with the titular character in the snow. The character design of the title character originated in a postcard in the team's newsletters, and later appeared in a preview page in the March 1992 issue of Bar Pretty, when only the concept had been finalized. Completed on a "tight" schedule, the volume was published in June 1992 by Kobunsha, and re-released in August 2001 by Kadokawa Shoten.

<i>Kekkaishi</i> Japanese manga series

Kekkaishi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yellow Tanabe. The series is about Yoshimori Sumimura and Tokine Yukimura, heirs to rival families of kekkai users, who must defend their school from the spirits drawn to the sacred land upon which it is built. It was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday from October 2003 to April 2011, with its chapters collected in thirty-five tankōbon volumes.

<i>Saint Seiya Episode.G</i> Japanese manga series

Saint Seiya Episode.G is a manga written and illustrated by Megumu Okada. A side-story and a derivative work of Masami Kurumada's Saint Seiya, it first started being serialized in the January 2003 issue of the monthly magazine Champion Red and was later compiled into 20 volumes by Akita Shoten, with the first being published on June 19, 2003.

Manga, or comics, have appeared in translation in many different languages in different countries. France represents about 40% of the European comic market and in 2011 comic represented 40% of the comics being published in the country. In 2007, 70% of the comics sold in Germany were manga. In the United States, manga comprises a small industry, especially when compared to the inroads that Japanese animation or Japanese video Games have made in the USA. One example of a manga publisher in the United States, VIZ Media, functions as the American affiliate of the Japanese publishers Shogakukan and Shueisha. Though the United Kingdom has fewer manga publishers than the U.S, most manga sold in the United Kingdom are published by U.S publishing companies like Viz media and Kodansha Comics which are in turn owned by their Japanese counterparts. Alongside the United Kingdom, the U.S manga publishers also sell their English translated manga in other English speaking nations like Canada, Australia and New Zealand with manga being quite popular in Australia compared to other English speaking countries.

<i>Yokujō Climax</i>

Desire Climax is a shōjo manga series by Ayane Ukyō. It was serialized in Shueisha's Margaret manga magazine from 2004 to 2006, and collected in seven bound volumes. The series is published in France by Panini Comics France and in Germany by Egmont Manga.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Riichiro Inagaki</span> Japanese manga writer from Tokyo (born 1976)

Riichiro Inagaki is a Japanese manga writer from Tokyo. He started his career in 2001 publishing works for Shogakukan's magazine Big Comic Spirits. After three one-shots, he moved to Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump, in which he started the work he is best known for, Eyeshield 21. In collaboration with the artist Yusuke Murata, Eyeshield 21 was serialized between July 2002 and June 2009 in Weekly Shōnen Jump. Between 2010 and 2015, Inagaki collaborated with several artists, including Bonjae, Katsunori Matsui, and Ryoichi Ikegami, and published one-shots in different magazines. He started a new serial titled Dr. Stone in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 2017 in collaboration with Boichi. He has 3 children with Orie Kimoto.

The Devil Does Exist is a shōjo romance manga based on school life. Written by Mitsuba Takanashi, it consists of 11 volumes.

MediaWorks, Inc. was a Japanese publishing company in the Kadokawa Group known for their Dengeki brand magazines and book labels. These included such well-known magazines as Dengeki Daioh, and Dengeki G's Magazine, along with MediaWorks' main light novel publishing imprint Dengeki Bunko. The company was merged with ASCII on April 1, 2008, and became ASCII Media Works. They mainly catered to the Japanese male otaku crowd, covering such topics as anime, light novels, manga, plastic modelling, and visual novels. However, MediaWorks had published three magazines targeted towards females—Comic Sylph, Dengeki Girl's Style, and Character Parfait—but each one was a special edition version of another magazine. MediaWorks ran yearly contests for original novel and manga submissions, such as the light novel Dengeki Novel Prize contest.

Shōnen, shonen, or shounen is the Japanese word for "boy" or "minor".

The Key to the Kingdom is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kyoko Shitou. The manga was serialised in Kadokawa Shoten's Asuka Fantasy DX. The manga is licensed and published in North America by CMX and in Taiwan by Kadokawa Shoten's subsidiary Kadokawa Media.
