Fu Jen Catholic University is a private Catholic university in Xinzhuang, New Taipei City, Taiwan. The university was founded in 1925 in Beijing at the request of Pope Pius XI and re-established in Taiwan in 1961 at the request of Pope John XXIII, its name means "assistance" and "benevolence". Cross-strait refers to across the Taiwan Strait, relating to the politically separate entities of Republic of China ("Taiwan") and People's Republic of China ("China").

The Apostolic Nunciature to China is the diplomatic mission of the Holy See to the Republic of China. The Republic of China is now more commonly referred to as “Taiwan”. However, as far as the Vatican is concerned, the Republic of China is the state of “China”. The Holy See does not have a diplomatic mission in, or diplomatic relations with, the People's Republic of China (PRC). The Apostolic Nunciature to China is located at 7–1, Lane 265, Heping East Road Section 2, Da'an District, Taipei.

I Lo-fen is a Taiwanese scholar and writer. She received her Chinese Literature Ph.D. from National Taiwan University. She has been an associate professor in the Division of Chinese in Nanyang Technological University’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences since July 2006, and was the Head of the Division (2014-2016). She had formerly committed in institutes like the National Taiwan University, Tamkang University, Fu Jen Catholic University, and the Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy at Academia Sinica. In addition, she was also a visiting professor at Stanford University in the United States and East Asian Institute at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. Her research expertise lies in Text and Image Studies, Su Shi studies, East Asian literature and intercultural exchanges in Classical Chinese, and Singapore literature, history, and arts studies. She is also a board member of the China Su Shi Studies Society, and an international board member of the Korea Society of East Asian Comparative Literature. She is the Founder and Honorary President of the "Text and Image Studies Society"(文图学会) that was official registered in Singapore on 18 December 2017. By integrating the history of Chinese literature and arts, she has accomplished a series of researches on poems in paintings and poetic imagery. She then proposed the idea of the “Text and Image Studies”(文图学) and focused on the relations, comparison and intertextuality between poems and paintings. From there, she has established her literary theory in arts creation and culture of aesthetics. She is also a column writer of Singapore Lianhe Zaobao (2007-), and she hosts podcast "Lofen says".

Kim Chong-kon was a South Korean admiral, diplomat, and politician, serving as the Chief of Naval Operations, the Ambassador to the Republic of China (ROC) in Taiwan, and a member of National Assembly before retirement. Starting his military career in 1951, Kim participated in several maritime operations during the Korean War and the Cold War, assigned to positions like warship commander, flotilla commander, naval station commander, fleet commander and senior staff in the Navy Headquarters. Kim also gained for himself several medals from South Korea and Taiwan for his efforts in military and foreign affairs.

The Church of St. John is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church located in North District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. Part of the Diocese of Hsinchu, it is administered by the Congregation of the Holy Spirit (Spiritans), and under the pastoral responsibility of Bishop John Baptist Lee Keh-mien.

Li Kotomi, is a Taiwanese fiction writer, translator, and essayist in Mandarin and Japanese. She is known by her pen name, "Li Kotomi." Her native language is Mandarin Chinese, but her novels are predominantly written in Japanese, and she debuted in 2017. Her literary career began with the Japanese novel titled Hitorimai. It received the 60th Gunzo New Writers' Award for Excellence in 2017. Also, Higanbana ga saku shima received the 165th Akutagawa Prize, which was established in 1935 in commemoration of Ryūnosuke Akutagawa.

National Dong Hwa University Chinese Language Center is one of the most distinguished schools for Chinese as a second language study in Taiwan, which is run by National Dong Hwa University (NDHU) in Hualien, Taiwan. In 2019, NDHU CLC's students achieved 100% pass rate in TOCFL. In 2021, NDHU CLC founded two oversea Chinese language school at universities in the United States.

Li Yuerong. better known as Iván Yueh-Jung Lee is a diplomat of the Republic of China, commonly known as Taiwan. He served as his country's final ambassador to Nicaragua in 2021, being appointed in November 2021.

Zhang Youci, better known as Francisca Yu-Tsz Chang, is a diplomat of the Republic of China, commonly known as Taiwan. She was the first female representative of the Republic of China in Colombia from 2020 to 2021, currently serving as the representative of the Republic of China to Peru.

Wu Chu-chu is a Taiwanese musician. He is known as one of the “First Generation Folk Singers” together with Parangalan (胡德夫) Yang Zujun, (楊祖珺) Yang Xian (楊弦) and others. After fading from fame, he established the UFO Group and entered the pop music business, fighting hard against music piracy.
