Commercial broadcasting is the broadcasting of television programs and radio programming by privately owned corporate media, as opposed to state sponsorship, for example. It was the United States' first model of radio during the 1920s, in contrast with the public television model during the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, which prevailed worldwide, except in the United States, Mexico, and Brazil, until the 1980s.

KT SkyLife is a satellite broadcasting provider in South Korea. It is a subsidiary of KT Corporation.

Canal+ Afrique is an African version of Canal+, available mainly in the francophone countries of Central and West Africa, as well as some non-francophone countries such as Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Ghana and Cape Verde. The Service is broadcast off the Satellite NSS 7 at 22° West.

Canal+ Calédonie, originally called Canal Satellite Nouvelle-Calédonie and CanalSat Calédonie, is a satellite provider based in the Overseas French Department of New Caledonia and Wallis and Futuna, and with reduced offers in Vanuatu. It was launched in 1999 to distribute satellite television to the region. It offered 48 C=channels, four radio stations and eight international channels. It broadcasts using the Intelsat 701 Satellite at 180 degrees east.

Orbit Showtime Network commonly known as OSN, is a Dubai-based satellite TV company serving the Middle East and North Africa region. OSN mainly broadcasts programming from TV networks owned by Paramount Global, Warner Bros. Discovery, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures, DreamWorks and BBC; as well as regional, mostly Arabic, Turkish and Pinoy content.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ciné+</span> Television channel

Ciné+ is a French thematic pay television channels broadcasting movies. They are published by the Canal+ Thématiques and are distributed by the Canal+ satellite TV as well as cable and ADSL providers. Channels broadcast all foreign films in their original language on a secondary audio channel with two subtitling tracks in French, one for translation from a foreign language and the other for the hearing impaired.

MBC 1 is a Mauritian free-to-air television channel of the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation, the national state broadcaster. MBC 1 was launched as the first TV channel in the country on 8 June 1964.

WIND Vision was a Greek digital television service introduced by WIND Hellas in April 2018.
