Lithuania is a European Parliament constituency for elections in the European Union covering the member state of Lithuania. It is currently represented by eleven Members of the European Parliament.
The 2004 European election was the sixth election to the European Parliament. As Lithuania had only joined the European Union earlier that month, it was the first election European election held in that state. The election took place on 13 June. 2004.
The 2009 European election was the seventh election to the European Parliament and the second for Lithuania. Lithuania's number of seats was reduced to twelve.
The 2014 European election was the eighth election to the European Parliament and the third for Lithuania.

He led Order and Justice from 2004 to 2016 and was a Member of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2019.

The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, or simply the Seimas, is the unicameral legislative body of the Republic of Lithuania. The Seimas constitutes the legislative branch of government in Lithuania, enacting laws and amendments to the Constitution, passing the budget, confirming the Prime Minister and the Government and controlling their activities.
The Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats, also known colloquially simply as the Conservatives, is a centre-right political party in Lithuania. It has 18,000 members and 50 of 141 seats in the Seimas. Its current leader is Gabrielius Landsbergis, who replaced Andrius Kubilius in 2015. It is a member of the European People's Party (EPP) and the International Democrat Union (IDU).
The Labour Party is a populist political party in Lithuania. The party was founded in 2003 by the Russian-born millionaire businessman and member of Seimas Viktor Uspaskich.
The Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union is a green-conservative and agrarian political party in Lithuania led by Ramūnas Karbauskis. The party is considered one of the main representatives of the left wing of Lithuanian politics. Lithuanian journalist Virgis Valentinavicius described the party as "the mixture of the extreme left in economic matters and the extreme right in some social issues, all spiced up with an anti-establishment rhetoric of radical change".
Order and Justice, formerly the Liberal Democratic Party was a right-wing national-conservative political party in Lithuania that self-identified as "left-of-centre", at least on economic matters. It had eight members in the Seimas, the unicameral Lithuanian parliament, as of the last election it participated in (2016).
