The Loop line of Chongqing Rail Transit is a rapid transit loop line in Chongqing, China. [1] The line is also known as Line 0.
The metro line serves three major railway stations in Chongqing: Chongqing North railway station, Shapingba railway station, and Chongqing West railway station. [2]
The line began construction on October 28, 2013. [3]
The northeastern section was opened on December 28, 2018. The southern section with the Egongyan Rail Transit Bridge opened on December 30, 2019. [4] The remaining section opened on January 20, 2021.

On January 8, 2019, a train accident occurred in the tunnel between Haixialu and Nanhu where a train struck an unsecured and improperly opened civil defense blast door. As a result, one person was killed and three people were injured. [9]
The Chongqing Rail Transit is the rapid transit system in the city of Chongqing, China. In operation since 2005, it serves the transportation needs of the city's main business and entertainment downtown areas and inner suburbs. As of December 2023, CRT consisted of eleven lines, with a total track length of 523.68 km (325 mi). Lines 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 18, the Loop line and Jiangtiao line are conventional heavy-rail metro lines, while Lines 2 and 3 are high-capacity monorails. To keep up with urban growth, construction is under way on Line 18 and several other lines, in addition to extensions to Lines 5, 6 and 10.
Urban rail transit in China encompasses a broad range of urban and suburban electric passenger rail mass transit systems including subway, light rail, tram and maglev. Some classifications also include non-rail bus rapid transport. As of 31 December 2022, China has the world's longest urban rail transit system with more than 9,500 km (5,900 mi) of urban rail nationwide in 49 systems in 47 cities, accounting for 9 of the 10 longest metro systems except Moscow Metro, or metro systems in Seoul combined if metro systems in the same cities are merged in the rank.
Line 11 is a northwest–southeast line of the Shanghai Metro network. Since October 2013, Line 11 serves Kunshan city, making it is the second intercity metro in China after the Guangfo Metro and the first that crosses a provincial boundary. With a single-line mileage of 82.386 kilometres (51.192 mi), it is the second-longest single-line subway line in China, after Line 6 in Chongqing, which is 85.6 km (53.2 mi) long. The line is colored brown on system maps.
Line 1 of CRT runs westwards from Chaotianmen to Bishan. Line 1 began operation on 28 July 2011.
CRT Line 6 is the second heavy rail subway line in Chongqing, as well as being the longest rapid transit line in China, at 85.6 km (53.19 mi) long. It opened with provisional revenue service on September 28, 2012, and connects Nan'an, Yuzhong, and Jiangbei districts in central Chongqing.
Line 11 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line of the Beijing Subway. The line opened on December 31, 2021. Line 11's color is grapefruit.
Chongqing North Station South Square, previously known simply as Chongqingbei Railway Station, is an interchange station on Line 3, Line 10 and the Loop line of Chongqing Rail Transit.
Shijiazhuang Metro is a rapid transit system in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province, China.
Line 18 of the Chengdu Metro is an express rapid transit line that connects the urban area of Chengdu with Chengdu Tianfu International Airport. Line 18's color is teal. The Phase 1 & 2 of Line 18 is in total 69.39 km in length. It is also the biggest PPP project in China. The section from South Railway Station to Tianfu International Airport North Station started operation on 18 December 2020.

Bishan is a station on Line 1 of Chongqing Rail Transit in Shuanglong Avenue, Bicheng Subdistrict, Bishan District, Chongqing Municipality, China. The station opened on December 30, 2019. It is CRT's first station to be built outside of the Metropolitan Area of Chongqing.
Line 17 of the Chengdu Metro is a metro line in Chengdu. The whole line will be 30.286 km when Phase 2 opens. The line uses 8-car Type-A trains operating up to 140 km/h speed powered by 25kV AC overhead lines.

Nanjimen Yangtze River Bridge is a rapid transit cable-stayed bridge that crosses the Yangtze to connect Yuzhong and Nan'an Districts in Chongqing. The bridge carries Chongqing Rail Transit Line 10 trains. It opened on 18 January 2023.
