Joanna Noëlle Levesque, known professionally as JoJo, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She began performing in singing competitions and local talent shows as a child. In 2003, record producer Vincent Herbert noticed her after she competed on the television show America's Most Talented Kids and asked her to audition for his record label Blackground Records. After signing with the label, JoJo released her eponymous debut studio album in 2004. It peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200 and was later certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), selling over four million copies worldwide to date.

Taylor appeared on MTV's My Super Sweet 16 prior to the release of her 2008 debut single, "Google Me." Despite lukewarm commercial response, she later gained wider attention in 2010 for her uncredited guest performances on the songs "Dark Fantasy" and "Hell of a Life" by Kanye West, from his highly-acclaimed album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010). Good to Know is the fourth studio album by American singer-songwriter JoJo. The album was released on May 1, 2020, marking JoJo's first release since leaving Atlantic Records and launching her own record label imprint Clover Music through a joint venture with Warner Records. The album's first single "Man" was released on March 13, 2020, along with the song's accompanying music video. The promotional single, "Lonely Hearts", was released on April 24, 2020. It received critical acclaim from contemporary music critics, with many praising its mature tone as well as JoJo's musical and vocal growth. An acoustic version of the album was released on July 10, 2020, assisted by the release of the acoustic version of "Think About You", and later, JoJo would release a deluxe edition of the album on August 28, 2020. The deluxe edition was preceded by the release of a new single, "What U Need". The deluxe edition also included a remix of "Lonely Hearts" featuring American singer Demi Lovato.

The JoJo Tour 2022 was the sixth headlining concert tour by American recording artist JoJo. Originally announced as the Good To Know Tour in February 2020, with initial dates being announced in Europe and North America, while the tour was scheduled to commence in April of the same year. Due to the increasing health and safety concerns, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the North American leg of the tour was rescheduled twice, with dates from November 2020 and May 2021 respectively. On January 15, 2021, the tour was cancelled altogether, due to the un-predictability of the pandemic. On October 26, 2021, JoJo announced the JoJo Tour 2022, which would serve in support of JoJo's fourth studio album Good to Know (2020) and her third EP Trying Not to Think About It (2021). The North American leg of the tour begun on February 24, 2022, in Portland, Oregon, United States and concluded on May 30, 2022, in Ottawa, Ontario.
