The Monaco Grand Prix is a Formula One motor racing event held annually on the Circuit de Monaco,in late May or early June. Run since 1929,it is widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world,and is one of the races—along with the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans—that form the Triple Crown of Motorsport. It is the only Grand Prix that does not adhere to the FIA's mandated 305-kilometre (190-mile) minimum race distance for F1 races.

The Monte Carlo Rally or Rallye Monte-Carlo is a rallying event organized each year by the Automobile Club de Monaco. From its inception in 1911 by Prince Albert I,the rally was intended to demonstrate improvements and innovations in automobiles,and promote Monaco as a tourist resort on the Mediterranean shore. Before the format changed in 1997,the event was a “concentration rally”in which competitors would set off from various starting points around Europe and drive to Monaco,where the rally would continue to a set of special stages. The rally now takes place along the French Riviera in Monaco and southeast France.

The Challenge Prince Rainier III is a domestic football cup in Monaco,featuring teams from across the country. The tournament has been organised annually since 1975 and since then has been known as the premier footballing tournament for amateur teams within the principality.

The 2021 Monaco Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on 23 May 2021 at the Circuit de Monaco,a street circuit that runs through the Principality of Monaco. It was the fifth round of the 2021 Formula One World Championship,the 78th time that the Monaco Grand Prix was held,and the first time it had been held since 2019 after the 2020 round was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 78 lap race was won by Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing after polesitter Charles Leclerc of Ferrari failed to start the race with a driveshaft problem.
The 2022 Monaco FIA Formula 2 round was a motor racing event held between 27 and 29 May 2022 at the Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo,Monaco. It was the fifth round of the 2022 FIA Formula 2 Championship,and was held in support of the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix.
