Originally hosted by Willie Revillame, Toni Gonzaga and Mariel Rodriguez, it premiered on August 21, 2005. Kumunity Season 10, the recently concluded season, was hosted by Bianca Gonzalez and Robi Domingo.

The show's first incarnation ran from February 5, 2005 to February 4, 2006, while the second and final incarnation ran from March 11, 2006 to July 30, 2010. It aired live on weekdays and Saturdays. The show was also broadcast worldwide through ABS-CBN's The Filipino Channel. The program ended on July 30, 2010, and was replaced by a new variety show, Pilipinas Win Na Win, the following day on July 31.

Entertainment Live is a Philippine showbiz oriented talk show broadcast by ABS-CBN airing every Saturday afternoon after the defunct noontime show Happy Yipee Yehey!. The show premiered August 4, 2007, replacing Gokada Go! and was first hosted by the Pinoy Big Brother hosts, Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez, and Bianca Gonzales. In 2008, Luis Manzano was added as a co-host of the show. Due to Kris Aquino's absence in her talk shows in 2010, Gonzaga replaced her in The Buzz while Gonzalez replaced her in SNN. In 2010, the new co-hosts were revealed as Cesca Litton and Nikki Gil replacing them. After SNN ended airing, Gonzalez returned hosting E-Live. The show officially ended on January 28, 2012, and it was replaced by Showbiz Inside Report.
Dolphy Theatre is a proscenium theatre adjacent in the ABS-CBN Studios in Quezon City, Philippines. It was named in honor of Filipino comedian Dolphy in celebration of his 80th birthday in 2008. It is one of the oldest studios of the Broadcast Center which was used as a newsroom in 1986 when the network re-opened.
Talentadong Pinoy, also known as Bangon Talentadong Pinoy is a Philippine reality talent show broadcast by TV5. The show premiere on August 16, 2008. Hosted initially by Ryan Agoncillo in its first five seasons, within exception of seasons 6 and 7, the show is handled formerly by Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez, it displays performances from singers, dancers, actors, musicians and comedians, to contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, ventriloquists and magicians. Contestants are allowed to perform any act they want. One difference to the Got Talent series is that the judges give their opinions on the performance of the performer and grades only 50% of the final score while the jury also grades 50% of the score to determine the winner. Its recent season aired every Saturday at 8 p.m. (PST). The show ended on March 13, 2021, and was replaced by 1000 Heartbeats: Pintig Pinoy.

Hagibis is a Filipino disco group best known for their macho image, on-stage costumes, and macho songs about women. Originally formed by Juan dela Cruz Band singer and bassist Mike Hanopol and Vic del Rosario, they are cited as the "First Boyband in the Philippines" and later were coined the title "Village People of the Philippines", a title they still hold to this day. In the Philippines, variety television shows have become mainstays of the noontime slot for network programming since 1958. The first Philippines noontime variety television shows were influenced by the popularity of bodabil (vaudeville) in the first half of the 20th century. Since then, the format has evolved with the changing times, with elements of reality television also incorporated as well since the 2000s. Majority of the noontime variety shows that aired on television were produced independently by blocktimers that pay a certain amount of time to television networks to air their program. Some TV networks though have managed to solely produce these kind of programs, with moderate success in terms of ratings and advertising revenues.
