Matilda Cruises operated commuter ferry and cruise services on Port Jackson in Sydney, Australia.
Matilda Cruises was founded in 1981 by Tim and Jillian Lloyd, with the purchase of Matilda, a 20-metre catamaran. She was joined by the 25 metre Matilda II in 1986, Matilda III in 1987 and Matilda IV in 1989. [1]
In the early 1990s, Matilda Cruises diversified into commuter ferries with the purchase of the Lane Cove River service from Rosman Ferries. In 1997, three high speed, low wash catamaran ferries (dubbed "Rockets") were purchased for fast sightseeing cruises and commuter ferry services. [2]
In 1997, Matilda Cruises was purchased by Amalgamated Holdings Limited (now Event Hospitality and Entertainment), who in 1998 also purchased Sail Venture Cruises, making Matilda the largest operator of charter vessels on Sydney Harbour. In November 2005, AHL sold Matilda Cruises to Captain Cook Cruises. [2] The Matilda Cruises trading name continues to be used.

Bristol Ferry Boats is a brand of water bus services operating around Bristol Harbour in the centre of the English city of Bristol, using a fleet of distinctive yellow-and-blue painted ferry boats. The MBTA boat or MBTA ferry system is a public boat service providing water transportation in Boston Harbor. It is operated by Boston Harbor Cruises (BHC) under contract to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). In 2021, the system had a ridership of 394,200, or about 3,000 per weekday as of the second quarter of 2022. The system consists of three routes that terminate in downtown Boston. F1 service runs from Rowes Wharf to Hewitt's Cove in Hingham. F2H service runs from Long Wharf to Hewitt's Cove, with some trips stopping at Logan Airport, Pemberton Point in Hull, and/or some of the Boston Harbor Islands. F4 service runs in the inner harbor between Long Wharf and the Charlestown Navy Yard. A seasonal pilot service also operates between Long Wharf and East Boston. Two additional seasonal routes, not funded by the MBTA but included on some MBTA documents, run from Boston to Salem and Winthrop.
