Meyhem Lauren (born May 14, 1983) [1] [2] is an American rapper from Queens, New York. [3] He is a founding member of the Smart Crew collective. [4] He has collaborated with the likes of DJ Muggs, Alchemist, and Harry Fraud. [5] He stars in Fuck, That's Delicious with Action Bronson, Alchemist, and Big Body Bes. [2]

Career

In 2007, Meyhem Lauren released a collaborative album with J-Love, titled Acknowledge Greatness. [6] In 2010, he released "Got the Fever", a tribute song to graffiti culture. [4] It was included on Complex 's "25 Best Songs About Graffiti" list in 2012. [7] The music video for the song has received a million views on YouTube. [4]

Meyhem Lauren's debut solo album, titled Self Induced Illness, was released in 2011. [6] In 2012, he released Respect the Fly Shit. [8] It was included on Spin 's "40 Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2012" list. [9] In that year, he also released Mandatory Brunch Meetings. [10] In 2014, he released a collaborative album with Buckwild, titled Silk Pyramids. [11] It was included on The Village Voice 's "10 Best New York City Rap Albums of 2014" list. [12] In 2016, he released Piatto D'oro. [13] In 2017, he released a collaborative album with DJ Muggs, titled Gems from the Equinox. Anthony Best professionally known as Buckwild, is an American hip hop record producer. Hailing from The Bronx borough of New York City, he is a member of Diggin' in the Crates Crew, along with Lord Finesse, Showbiz and A.G., Diamond D, Fat Joe, Big L, and O.C. Greedhead Music is an independent record label founded by Himanshu Suri of Das Racist. Initially, Suri founded Greedhead Music as a management and recording company in 2008 to manage Das Racist. Primarily a hip hop producer, Fraud began producing at an early age and began interning at a recording studio after graduating high school. First discovered by French Montana during a recording session in Chinatown in early 2009, Fraud has gone on to become a fixture in the New York underground and mixtape scene. He gained mainstream attention when his song with French Montana "Shot Caller" became one of the most added tracks on urban contemporary radio during 2011–2012.

<i>Only for Dolphins</i> 2020 studio album by Action Bronson

Only for Dolphins is the fifth studio album by American rapper Action Bronson. It was released on September 25, 2020, through Loma Vista Recordings and Concord Records. Production was handled by multiple producers, including Bronson himself, The Alchemist, DJ Muggs, Harry Fraud and Daringer. The cover and interior art were hand-painted by Bronson. The album's title is a reference to a lyric from the song "Mt. Etna" from his previous album, White Bronco, where Bronson raps, "my next album's only for dolphins".

<i>Tuez-Les Tous</i> 2019 studio album by DJ Muggs and Mach-Hommy

Tuez-Les Tous is the first collaborative full-length album by American hip hop producer DJ Muggs and Haitian rapper Mach-Hommy. It was released on March 29, 2019 via Soul Assassins Records. Produced entirely by Muggs, it features guest appearances from Tha God Fahim, Big Cheeko, Kungg Fuu, Meyhem Lauren and Your Old Droog. The title translates to “Kill Them All” in English.
