Putrajaya, officially the Federal Territory of Putrajaya, is the administrative and judicial capital of Malaysia. The seat of the federal government of Malaysia was moved in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya because of overcrowding and congestion in Kuala Lumpur, whilst the seat of the judiciary of Malaysia was later moved to Putrajaya in 2003. Kuala Lumpur remains as Malaysia's national capital city per the constitution and is still the seat of the head of state and the national legislature, as well as being the country's commercial and financial centre.
The Federal Territories in Malaysia comprise three territories—Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, and Putrajaya—governed directly by the Federal Government of Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur is the national capital of Malaysia, Putrajaya is the administrative capital, and Labuan is an offshore international financial centre. The Gombak District is an administrative district located in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. Malaysian Federal Roads System, is the main national road network in Malaysia. All Federal Roads in Malaysia are under the purview of the Ministry of Works (MOW). According to the Ministerial Functions Act 1969, the MOW is responsible to plan, build and maintain all Federal Roads gazetted under the Federal Roads Act 1959. Putrajaya–Cyberjaya Expressway, Federal Route 29, is a major expressway in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The 21.2 km (13.2 mi) expressway connects Serdang interchange on Damansara–Puchong Expressway to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang. It was named after the two sides of the MSC cities, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya.

The MRT Putrajaya Line (PYL), also known as MRT 2, is the second Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line in Klang Valley, Malaysia, and the third fully automated and driverless rail system in the country. It was previously known as the MRT Sungai Buloh–Serdang–Putrajaya Line (SSP Line). The line stretches from Kwasa Damansara to Putrajaya and runs through densely populated areas such as Sri Damansara, Kepong, Batu, Jalan Ipoh, Sentul, Kampung Baru, Jalan Tun Razak, KLCC, Tun Razak Exchange, Kuchai Lama, Seri Kembangan and Cyberjaya.
The National Heroes Square is a monument and war memorial in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The memorial is located at Precinct 1 to replace the National Monument as a venue of Warriors Day. The Heroes Square is laid down in a similar pattern to that of Horse Guards Parade.

Putrajaya Botanical Garden is a botanical garden in Presint 1, Putrajaya, Malaysia. It was opened on 31 August 2001 and spans over an area of 93 hectares. The garden is divided into five sections, which are Explorer's Trail, Palm Hill, Floral Gardens, Sun Garden and Lakeside. It features facilities such as restaurant, car parks, bicycle rental and paddle boat rental. The garden is accessible by bus from Putrajaya/Cyberjaya ERL station.
