Mission Quarters is a residential area situated in the heart of Thrissur city of Kerala state, of India. It is situated adjacent to S.T Nagar the commercial centre of Thrissur. Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute and Bethel Ashramam are the other important institutions.[ citation needed ]

Thrissur is the administrative capital of Thrissur District, in the central part of Kerala state, India. Thrissur district was formed on 1 July 1949. It is an important cultural centre, and is known as the Cultural Capital of Kerala. It is famous for the Thrissur Pooram festival, one of the most colourful and spectacular temple festival of Kerala. From ancient times, Thrissur has been politically, economically and culturally significant to the Indian subcontinent. It has opened the gates for Arabs, Romans, Portuguese, Dutch and English. InfoPark Thrissur is an information technology park situated in Koratty near Chalakudy of Thrissur District in Kerala. This is the first information technology park in the state that has become operational under the 'Hub and Spoke Model', where InfoPark, Kochi acts as the hub and InfoPark Koratty as the spoke. The park is located 45 km from Kochi, 35 km from Thrissur, 5 km from Chalakudy and around 14 km from the Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery. It is fully owned by the Government of Kerala. The InfoPark is associated with Kerala State IT Mission and Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Ltd.

Aswini Hospital is a private hospital situated in Thrissur, in the Kerala state of India. It is situated near Vadakkechira Bus stand and Poonkunam railway station in Thrissur Corporation. Established as a 40-bed hospital in 1987, it is now a 300-bed Multi-Super Speciality General Hospital. The hospital also runs the Aswini School of Nursing in Nadathara, Thrissur. The hospital offers treatment to the people of Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram districts.

Thrissur railway station is a railway station in Kerala, India. Thrissur also is known as the Cultural Capital of Kerala. Thrissur railway station is a major railway head in South India and A1 classified station operated by the Southern Railway zone of the Indian Railways and comes under the Thiruvananthapuram railway division. It is the busiest railway station in Kerala state in terms of rail traffic with 189 halting trains. At 97 crore in financial year 2018–19, it is the fourth largest in terms of passenger revenues in Kerala and the eighth largest in Southern Railway. Daily trains are available to Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Mangalore, and Hyderabad.
