Nurol Holding is an industrial conglomerate in Turkey operating in the construction, defence manufacturing, energy, investment banking and tourism industries. Its core business is construction; Nurol Construction was founded in 1966. [2] [3] It is privately owned, with equal shares held by three members of the Çarmıklı family. [4] The Holding was established in 1989. [5]

The company's 35th anniversary celebration in 2001 was attended by former Prime Minister and President of Turkey Suleyman Demirel. [6] In 2007 it considered entering the media sector by participating in the Sabah -ATV tender, but decided it against it after reviewing the companies' financials. [7]

OYAK, is a Turkish charity and pension fund with around 363,000 members and owner of Renault (Oyak). The OYAK Holding Investment Subsidiary Group is one of the largest industrial groups in Turkey. The group was the former owner of ING Oyak Bank and the Oypa supermarket chain. In 2012 it was rated BB+/stable by Standard & Poor's. The group co-owns Oyak-Renault, a car manufacturer, and steel producer Erdemir.

In 2015, He bought the island of San Clemente in Italy covering 62,000 square meters, as well as a five-star luxury hotel, the San Clemente Palace Resort, which was one of the largest investments between Italy and Turkey.
