Tomorrowland One World Radio, is the official radio station and content platform of Tomorrowland. It is available 24/7, with the goal of uniting the "People of Tomorrow" through the music all year long, not only during the festival.

Contents

The digital radio station many electronic genres with daily, weekly and special monthly episodes. Just like the festival, One World Radio is all over the world with the international hosts and guests, it has millions of listeners in over 130 countries.

The success of One World Radio is due to the "impeccable selection" of music, but also the fact that all of the shows are later to be found on-demand right, after they go on air.

Listeners can tune in to One World Radio through various platforms. The radio channel can be accessed via FM and DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) for those who prefer traditional radio frequencies. Additionally, the radio station can be enjoyed through the Tomorrowland App, the official website of Tomorrowland, YouTube and even within the official Tomorrowland Discord server. This diverse range of listening options ensures that fans of Tomorrowland and electronic music can engage with One World Radio no matter where they are or what device they are using.

History

One World Radio was launched as Radio DEEA in 1997.[ citation needed ]

In 2007, Lagardère bought the licenses of Radio DEEA, for the launch of Vibe FM in 2008. Although Lagardère bought only the radio licenses for Radio DEEA, but not the brand. Also, Radio 21 has also bought 21 radio licenses for Radio DEEA, also in 2007.

On April 7, 2008, Radio DEEA became Vibe FM, and the format for Vibe FM when it was launched was dance music, with the slogan Dancefloor Radio.[ citation needed ]

In February 2019, One World Radio was launched in Belgium as part of 15th anniversary of Tomorrowland, opening with a set by Steve Aoki.

On July 15, 2021, Vibe FM became One World Radio, which is the Belgian music festival Tomorrowland's official radio station. [1] [ user-generated source? ]

On July 1, 2022, One World Radio launched in the United Kingdom and Malta as DAB station as well as Spain as FM radio station in Mallorca and Ibiza. [2]
