Ophiocomidae are a family of brittle stars of the suborder Ophiurina.

Ophiocomidae has been placed (along with Ophionereididae) to the superfamily Ophiocomidea and infraorder Gnathophiurina [1] or suborder Gnathophiurina [2] in different classifications.
