Ptychominon aciculare is a species of moss found predominantly in Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Samoa, Juan Fernandez Islands and Chile. It is easily recognised given its similarity, especially when partially dried, to a pipe-cleaner. This name is commonly accepted across Australia and New Zealand. It has been observed growing from between sea level to sub-alpine altitudes (1200m).

Mesochaete undulata is a moss found in Australia and Lord Howe Island. Usually seen in moist sites on rocks or soil beside streams. Plants may be large, up to 5 cm long. The stems are usually not branched, red at the base and yellowish green above. Leaves are large and spreading, rounded to blunt at the tips, 1.8 mm to 4.5 mm long. This plant first appeared in scientific literature in 1870, published in the Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society by the Swedish bryologist, Sextus Otto Lindberg.

Davydiv Brid is a village in Beryslav Raion, Kherson Oblast, southern Ukraine, about 76 kilometres (47 mi) northeast of the centre of Kherson city. It belongs to the Velyka Oleksandrivka settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. The village lies besides the Inhulets river. The border of Kherson Oblast with Mykolaiv Oblast runs on the north-west side of the village.

The battle of Davydiv Brid was a Ukrainian counter-offensive operation during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. In reaction to Russia's southern Ukraine offensive, Ukrainian forces attempted to recapture part of Russian-occupied Kherson Oblast and tie up Russian resources. The counteroffensive began on 27 May 2022 and was centered near the village of Davydiv Brid, which was initially recaptured by Ukraine; however, they were pushed back over the Inhulets River by 16 June 2022. However, another bridgehead near Lozove was retained by Ukrainian forces. In a subsequent Ukrainian southern counteroffensive that was launched two and a half months later, Davydiv Brid was reported as captured by Ukrainian forces on 4 October.

Naomh Bríd is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Leighlinbridge, County Carlow, Ireland. The club is solely concerned with the game of hurling.
