Ryan Corr is an Australian actor. He is known for his roles in the Australian drama series Packed to the Rafters and Love Child along with film roles in Wolf Creek 2 (2013), The Water Diviner (2014), Holding the Man (2015) and Underbelly.
Corr was born in Melbourne. His father is Peter Corr, the head coach of the Australian women's goalball team. [1]
In 2009, he graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). [2]
He began making appearances in film and television from the age of five, [3] but started his acting career in earnest at age thirteen [2] with the film Opraholic. His first television performance was on The Sleepover Club with a supporting role as Matthew McDougal. Following this, he landed a lead role as Sheng Zamett on Silversun (2004).
Soon after, Corr had guest appearances on shows such as Scooter: Secret Agent , Blue Heelers , and Neighbours . As a voice actor, he voiced a sheep in Charlotte's Web . In 2006, the second series of Blue Water High aired on Australian TV in which Corr starred as young surfer Eric, one of the six chosen teens to attend Solar Blue. In 2010, Corr appeared in the final few episodes of Underbelly: The Golden Mile as Michael Kanaan and was a regular character on the popular Australian television show Packed to the Rafters , playing Dave Rafter's nephew Coby Jennings.
In 2013, he appeared in the teen thriller film 6 Plots, and starred alongside John Jarratt in Wolf Creek 2 , the 2013 sequel to the horror film Wolf Creek .
In 2015, Corr starred in Neil Armfield's romantic-drama film Holding the Man , adapted from Timothy Conigrave's 1995 memoir of the same name. He portrayed Conigrave opposite Craig Stott who portrayed Conigrave's partner, John Caleo. [4] [5]
In 2016, he starred in the television series Wanted . [6]
Corr appeared as Joseph in Helen Edmundson's 2018 film Mary Magdalene . [7]
In 2022, he had a recurring role in HBO's House of the Dragon as Ser Harwin Strong. [8]
In May 2014, Corr was charged with heroin possession after being found with a freezer bag holding 0.26g (less than 1/100 of an ounce) of the drug in the Sydney suburb of Bondi. After admitting to the possession, the actor was given a 12-month good behaviour bond with no conviction recorded. [9]
The arrest took place a few days after Corr's grandfather went into a coma following a heart attack. He had been close with his grandfather, who had flown with him to acting jobs when he was a child. According to Corr's lawyer, Corr was grateful for the arrest, because it stopped him from using heroin for the first time. [3] Corr later stated, "I found myself in a position where I was incredibly upset, someone offered me something and 200 metres after, I was picked up with it. It was an error of judgment." [10]

John Howard is an Australian stage and screen actor. Howard is best known for his appearances in the television series Blue Heelers, SeaChange, Always Greener, All Saints and Packed to the Rafters.
Christopher Truswell, is an English-born Australian actor, musician and voice-over best known as Gerald "Nudge" Noritas in the Australian TV sitcom Hey Dad..! He voiced the character of Rune Haako in the film Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones which was filmed in Sydney, Australia. Truswell got his first acting role at aged 17, in the Australian film Fast Talking playing the character Moose.
Michael Caton is an Australian actor, comedian and television host, best known for playing Uncle Harry in the Australian television series The Sullivans, Darryl Kerrigan in 1997's low-budget hit film The Castle, and Ted Taylor in the television series Packed to the Rafters.
Holding the Man is a 1995 memoir by Australian writer, actor, and activist Timothy Conigrave. It tells of his 15-year love affair with John Caleo, which started when they met in the mid-1970s at Xavier College, an all-boys Jesuit Catholic school in Melbourne, and follows their relationship through the 1990s when they both developed AIDS. The book, which won the 1995 Human Rights Award for Non-Fiction, has been adapted as a play, a docudrama, and in 2015 a film starring Ryan Corr, Craig Stott, Anthony La Paglia, Geoffrey Rush and Guy Pearce.

Greg McLean is an Australian film director, producer and writer, principally of horror films. He rose to fame in 2005 with his debut feature film, Wolf Creek, creating the character Mick Taylor. The sequel to his first feature, Wolf Creek 2 was released February 2013. Mclean also wrote, directed and produced Rogue (2007) and was executive producer of Red Hill (2010) and Crawlspace (2012). Guy Edmonds is an Australian born director, writer, actor and author. He co-created, wrote, acted in and directed the Emmy award-winning comedy series Hardball. Mingay together with Michael Falzon, Luke Kennedy, and Matt Lee appeared in the Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2014. In 2015, Mingay joined the cast of soap opera Home and Away in the recurring role of Trystan Powell.
Holding the Man is a 2015 Australian romantic drama film adapted from Timothy Conigrave's 1995 memoir of the same name. It was directed by Neil Armfield and stars Ryan Corr and Craig Stott, with supporting performances from Guy Pearce, Anthony LaPaglia, Sarah Snook, Kerry Fox and Geoffrey Rush. The screenplay was written by Tommy Murphy who also adapted the memoir for the stage play.
Tessa de Josselin is an Australian actress and voiceover artist. She left her job as an environmental planner to pursue a career in acting. Jake Ryan is an Australian actor. He was a member of the Australian national Taekwondo team for eight years, before an injury led him to pursue a career in acting.
