Second Pinarayi Vijayan Ministry is the Council of Ministers headed by Pinarayi Vijayan that was formed after winning in the 15th legislative assembly elections by bagging 99 of the 140 seats in the Assembly. Swearing Ceremony

Pinarayi Vijayan Ministry took oath at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on 20 May 2021 Thursday at 3:30 IST. The new Kerala state cabinet have 21 members including the chief minister. This time, the ruling Left Democratic Front had decided to replace all sitting ministers. Before taking oath, all CPI(M) ministers offered prayers at the Martyrs Column in Alappuzha. The swearing ceremony took place in strict adherence to Covid-19 protocol. Around 350 people attended the ceremony. [9]

He served as the chairman of Administrative reforms in Kerala with state cabinet rank from 2016 to 2021. He has served as Leader of the Opposition for 15 years which makes him the longest serving Leader of the Opposition in Kerala Legislative Assembly.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Pinarayi Vijayan</span> 12th Chief Minister of Kerala

Pinarayi Vijayan is an Indian politician who is the current Chief Minister of Kerala, serving since 25 May 2016. A member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), he is the longest-serving secretary of the Kerala State Committee of the CPI(M) (1998–2015). He also served in the government of Kerala as Minister of Electric Power and Co-operatives from 1996 to 1998. Vijayan won a seat in the May 2016 Kerala Legislative Assembly election as the CPI(M) candidate for Dharmadom constituency and was selected as the leader of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and became the 12th Chief Minister of Kerala. He is the first chief minister from Kerala to be re-elected after completing a full term in office. In 2022, he also became the longest-continuous serving chief minister of Kerala surpassing C. Achutha Menon who had been the first to remain in office for 2364 consecutive days.

Jaleel is an Indian politician from Kerala and a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Thavanur and has served as Minister of Higher Education, Welfare of Minorities, Waqf and Hajj in the Left Democratic Front (LDF) -led ministry. He was first elected to Kerala Legislative Assembly in 2006. He was an Associate Professor of History at P. S. M. O. College, Tirurangadi. He previously served as Minister of Local Administration, Government of Kerala.
