Seneca Vocational High School, also known as Seneca Comprehensive High School and Seneca High School, is a former vocational high school located in Buffalo, New York. It was one of the first vocational schools built in Western New York. The building, located at 666 East Delavan Avenue in Buffalo, currently serves home to The Math, Science, Technology Preparatory School.
Seneca was the oldest vocational high school in Buffalo, and was constructed three months after the first vocational school in the state of New York was completed. The building was constructed in 1925 and received an addition in 1955. Seneca High School stopped admitting new students in 2006, although it remained open so that the remaining classes of 2007 and 2008 were allowed to graduate. In the fall of 2006, the school reopened as the Math Science and Tech Prep at Seneca. From 2010 to 2012, the Seneca building was renovated by LPCiminelli. During that time, MST Prep students were educated at Black Rock Academy until Seneca was ready to be re-opened.

The West Seneca Central School District is the third largest central school district in Western New York, and one of the largest school districts in New York State. It serves 25 square miles (65 km2), including a majority of the town of West Seneca, and portions of the towns of Cheektowaga, Orchard Park, and Hamburg. It was centralized in 1946.

Lafayette High School was a public high school in Buffalo, New York. It was the oldest public school in Buffalo that remained in its original building, a stone, brick and terra-cotta structure in the French Renaissance Revival style by architects August Esenwein and James A. Johnson. Although classes began off-site during construction of the school, the building was completed and graduated its first class in 1903. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is located in Buffalo's Upper West Side at 370 Lafayette Avenue.
Hutchinson Central Technical High School, informally known as Hutch-Tech, is a high school in the City of Buffalo, New York. Its founding on September 14, 1904 under the name Mechanics Arts High School marked the beginning of technical education on the secondary level in the city of Buffalo. Math, Science, and Technology Preparatory School is a magnet middle/high school located in the City of Buffalo, New York. the first preparatory school in Western New York and the third in New York State. The school opened in September 2006 and has approximately 387 students. The current principal is Dr. Kevin Eberle, and the current assistant principals are Ms. Sarah Cosgrove and Ms. Danielle Womack.
William England Pritchard was an American football player and coach and educator. He played college football at Pennsylvania State University and professionally in the National Football League (NFL) with the Providence Steamrollers in 1927 and the New York Yankees in 1928. Pritchard served as the head football coach at the University of Buffalo for one season in 1931, compiling a record of 2–6. He later worked as a teacher and principal for public schools in Buffalo, New York.

Emerson re-opened that fall as the Emerson School of Hospitality located at 86 West Chippewa Street, in Buffalo's Downtown Entertainment District, with a restaurant and banquet facility open to the public and managed by students and teachers.
