James Nomarhas is an Australian Paralympic shooter. He won a silver medal at the 1996 Summer Paralympics. He competed in pistol events at three successive Summer Paralympics from 1996, [[ |World Shooting Championships]], Oceania, Korean, German and National Championships, and the Arafura Games in 2009.

Shooting competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo were originally scheduled from 25 July to 3 August 2020, due to the postponement of the Summer Olympics to 2021, the rescheduled dates were on 24 July to 2 August 2021 at the Asaka Shooting Range. Unlike in 2016, the number of shooters competing across fifteen events at these Games had been reduced from 390 to 360, with an equal distribution between men and women. Furthermore, several significant changes were instituted in the Olympic shooting program, including the substitution of three male-only events, with the mixed team competitions.

Francisco Ángel Soriano San Martín is a SH1 shooter from Spain. In 2012, he was retired and a pensioner. Soriano competed at the 1988 Summer Paralympics, 1992 Summer Paralympics, 1996 Summer Paralympics, 2000 Summer Paralympics, 2004 Summer Paralympics, 2008 Summer Paralympics and 2012 Summer Paralympics. In 1996, he won a gold medal in the Free Pistol .50 P4, Mixed SH1 competition. In 2000, he won a bronze in the Free Pistol .50 P4, Mixed SH1 competition.
