The State University of Feira de Santana ( Portuguese : Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana, UEFS) is a public institution of higher education in Brazil, based in the city of Feira de Santana, Bahia. Until the 1990s, it was also the only university in this city.

Currently, the university has 27 graduate courses, offering 765 places by year for the third degree, with an average of 17.85 candidates per seat.

The cathedral also functions as the seat of the Archdiocese of Feira de Santana, which was created in 1962 through the bull "Novae Ecclesiae" by Pope John XXIII. The Bandstand at Bernardino Bahia Square is a historic bandstand in Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil. It is located within the Historic Center of Feira de Santana within Bernardino Bahia Square. The bandstand covers 77.5 square metres (834 sq ft) and was built by Colonel Bernardino Bahia in 1915. It is the first bandstand built in the city, and is one of three in Feira de Santana listed as a state heritage site by the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Bahia in 1991.

The Church of Our Lady of Remedies, or Chapel of Our Lady of Remedies, is an 18th-century Roman Catholic church located in Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil. It was constructed between 1700 and 1705, likely to replace an early church structure. It is the oldest church in Feira de Santana. The church is dedicated to Our Lady of Remedies. It is noted for its wide bell tower, which is topped by a pyramid decorated with fragments of porcelain imported from Macao, a technique found in churches in Cachoeira. The church was listed as a state heritage site by the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Bahia in 2006.

It was designed by Acciolly Ferreira da Silva in an Eclecticism style with both Neoclassical and Gothic revival elements. It shares many design elements with the nearby Town Hall of Feira de Santana, also designed by Ferreira da Silva. The market covers 2,562 square metres (27,580 sq ft). The building was listed as a state heritage site by the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Bahia in 1994.

The Municipal Public Archive of Feira de Santana or, is a former school and public archive in Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil. It is located within the Historic Center of Feira de Santana, was built in 1917, and inaugurated in 1918. The archive holds over 200,000 documents; its collection includes detailed records of the trade of enslaved Africans in the municipality. The building of the Municipal Public Archive of Feira de Santana was listed as a state heritage site by the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Bahia in 1994.

The Town Hall of Feira de Santana, officially known as The Maria Quitéria Town Hall, is an 20th-century municipal building in Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil. It was built in the eclecticism style by the engineer Acciolly Ferreira da Silva, who also designed the Municipal Market of Feira de Santana. The town hall was renamed in honor of Maria Quitéria (1792-1853), a heroine of the Brazilian War of Independence.

He previously served as an advisor in technology to Governor Jaques Wagner, as an advisor to the Rousseff government, and as head of multiple ministries in the government of Rui Costa, rising through the ranks of governmental management. He is a member of the Workers' Party.
