Steven Andrew Ritchie (born 17 September 1980) is an English singer, reality television star and actor known for his appearances on The X Factor and Celebrity Big Brother . [1]
In 2014, Ritchie auditioned for eleventh series of The X Factor , singing "Dance with Me Tonight". Mentored by Simon Cowell, he was not initially selected for the live shows, but Cheryl Fernandez-Versini chose him to be the Over 26s wildcard. After the eliminations of Overload Generation in week 1 and Jack Walton and Lola Saunders in week 4, Ritchie was the last wildcard left in the competition. In week 6, Ritchie was in the bottom two with fellow Over 26s contestant Jay James. Cowell and Louis Walsh voted to send Ritchie home, but Mel B and Fernandez-Versini who chose him as a wildcard act and had the casting vote, voted to send James home. This meant Fernandez-Versini sent the vote to deadlock and James was eliminated.[ citation needed ] The following week, he was in the bottom two again with Andrea Faustini and was eliminated by the judges with only Cowell voting to send Ritchie through to the quarter-final, and Mel B, Fernandez-Versini and Walsh voting to send Faustini through to the quarter-final, and he was eliminated.[ citation needed ] However, voting statistics revealed that Ritchie received more votes than Faustini which meant that if Walsh sent the result to deadlock, Ritchie would have advanced to the quarter-final and Faustini would have been eliminated.

Ritchie participated in the sixteenth series of Celebrity Big Brother with fiance, Chloe Jasmine Whichello. On 24 September, they reached the final on Day 29 and placed 5th. [2]
In August 2015, Ritchie and Whichello appeared in an episode of Keep It in the Family . He also appeared in a celebrity edition of Channel 4 game show Benchmark in October 2015. He has made appearances on Good Morning Britain , Lorraine , This Morning and Loose Women . He has also taken part in the CBBC game show Ultimate Brain . [3] On 15 August 2016 Essex County Standard reported that Essex TV had commissioned a show hosted by Ritchie dubbed 'Stevi Ritchie Takes On Essex.' [4]
On Saturday 4 November 2017 Stevi performed alongside Britain’s Got Talent star Paul Manners at Bridgwater Carnival. [5] [6] [7]

Ritchie and fellow contestant Chloe Jasmine Whichello began dating during their participation on The X Factor, and announced their engagement on 12 July 2015. Ritchie has a daughter, Summer, from a previous relationship. [9]
In 2007, Ritchie trained as professional wrestler, having a few professional matches using the name "Steve Straight".

Chloe-Jasmine Whichello also known as Chloe Jasmine, is an English singer best known for participating in the Sky Living modelling show The Face in 2013 where she was mentored by Naomi Campbell, and the eleventh series of The X Factor in 2014. Chloe Jasmine made it to the live shows, where she worked with Cheryl, but was eliminated in week 2 and was the fourth contestant eliminated suffering from a broken leg. She later competed in Celebrity Big Brother in 2015.
Lauren Nicole Platt is an English television presenter, singer and actress. After she was the thirteenth contestant eliminated in the eleventh series of The X Factor, she presented the CBBC talent series Got What It Takes? from 2016 to 2018.
Benjamin Bernard Haenow is a British singer-songwriter. In 2014, he was crowned as the winner of the eleventh series of The X Factor UK after beating Fleur East. Following his win, his debut single, a cover of OneRepublic's "Something I Need", was released in December 2014. It debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the 2014 Christmas number one. Haenow released his self-titled debut studio album in November 2015, preceded by the single "Second Hand Heart", a duet with Kelly Clarkson.
Stereo Kicks were an English-Irish boy band who were formed and were the twelfth contestant eliminated on the eleventh series of The X Factor in 2014. Stereo Kicks consisted of; James Graham, Jake Sims, Chris Leonard, Charlie Jones, Casey Johnson, Barclay Beales, Reece Bibby, and Tom Mann. Their debut single "Love Me So" was released on 21 June 2015 and charted at number 31 on the UK Singles Chart. Just a month later, however, having been together under a year, they announced they were disbanding due to their failure to land a record deal.

This is the first series not to include companion show The Xtra Factor, after it was cancelled in January 2017. Its replacement is a programme called Xtra Bites presented by Becca Dudley on the ITV Hub. This is also the first series to be sponsored by Just Eat, with the show having been sponsored by TalkTalk since 2009, as well as the second time the show has premiered in September, rather than August, since the first series in 2004. Rak-Su won the competition on 3 December 2017 and they became the second group to win the competition and Simon Cowell became the winning mentor for the fourth time.

It is a revamped version of the 2006 celebrity format The X Factor: Battle of the Stars. Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh judged this series, with Dermot O'Leary presenting the series and Vick Hope hosting Xtra Bites on YouTube.
