Studio N is a subsidiary of Webtoon Entertainment Inc. launched in August 2018 that produces drama films and television series based on stories from their Korean library of webtoons and web novels. [1] [2] [3] [4] The subsidiary is headed by Kwon Mi-kyung, who was a former head of the film business division of CJ ENM. [1] [5] Kwon describes the studio as a "IP bridge company that collaborates with existing film and drama production companies". [2]

Yumi's Cells is a 2021 South Korean television series directed by Lee Sang-yeob and starring Kim Go-eun, Ahn Bo-hyun, Park Jin-young, Lee Yu-bi, and Park Ji-hyun. Based on the eponymous webtoon, it is a cell-based psychological romance that unravels the daily life of an ordinary office worker Yumi through the eyes of the cells in her head. Yumi's Cells is a South Korean manhwa series written and illustrated by Lee Dong-gun. This webtoon was released on internet portal Naver Webtoon from April 1, 2015 until November 13, 2020 with a total 512 chapters. The story revolves around Kim Yumi, a 32-year-old office worker, and her brain cells, tiny blue-hooded cells that control her every mood, thought, and action.

Yumi’s Cells: The Movie is a 2024 South Korean animated cell–based Psychological drama film directed by Kim Da-hee. Based on the eponymous webtoon by Lee Dong-gun, the film is produced by Locus Animation and Studio N. It follows an office worker Yumi and the myriad of cells inside her brain – such as Rational Cell, Emotional Cell, Anxiety Cell, Love Cell, Naughty Cell, and more – each responsible for Yumi’s emotions and actions.
