Takashi "Tak" Fujimoto, ASC (born July 12, 1939) is an American retired cinematographer. [1]
Fujimoto was born in San Diego, California. He is of Japanese descent. During World War II, he was interned at the Poston War Relocation Center due to Executive Order 9066. [2] A graduate of the London Film School, he has worked with filmmakers Jonathan Demme, M. Night Shyamalan, John Hughes, Howard Deutch and Terrence Malick. Early in his career, he worked on the second unit of the first Star Wars film, as well as the exploitation film Switchblade Sisters .
In 2011, he worked on the pilot for the television drama A Gifted Man .
Fujimoto had retired by 2015, and lived with his wife Anthea in Santa Fe, New Mexico. [3] He is the younger brother of academic Jack Fujimoto. [4]

George Raymond Richard Martin, also known as GRRM, is an American novelist, screenwriter, television producer, and short story writer. Eugene Allen Hackman is an American retired actor. Fujiko Fujio was a manga writing duo formed by Japanese manga artists Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko. Professional debut in 1951. Used the Fujiko Fujio name from 1953 until dissolution of the partnership in 1987, upon Fujimoto's illness. The pair was best known for their popular comedies, including Obake no Q-Tarō, Ninja Hattori-kun, Kaibutsu-kun, Perman, Kiteretsu Daihyakka, and Doraemon, which is officially recognized as a cultural icon of modern Japan. Some of their influences have included Osamu Tezuka as well as international cartoons and comic books.
Santa Fe University of Art and Design (SFUAD) was a private for-profit art school in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The university was built from the non-profit College of Santa Fe (CSF), a Catholic facility founded as St. Michael's College in 1859, and renamed the College of Santa Fe in 1966. After financial difficulties in 2009, the college closed and the campus was purchased by the City of Santa Fe, the State of New Mexico, and Laureate Education, and reopened with a narrowed focus on film, theater, graphic design, and fine arts. As Santa Fe University of Art and Design it became a secular college of 950 students. The university closed in May 2018 due to significant ongoing financial challenges.

Dark Winds is an American psychological thriller television series created by Graham Roland based on the Leaphorn & Chee novel series by Tony Hillerman. It premiered on AMC and AMC+ on June 12, 2022, with the first season consisting of six episodes. After its premiere, the series was renewed for a six-episode second season, which premiered on July 30, 2023. In September 2023, the series was renewed for a third season.
