Thy Will Be Done is an American heavy metal band formed in 2005 from Providence, Rhode Island. [7] The ensemble has released the studio albums Was and Is to Come [8] and In Ancient of Days via Stillborn Records, [8] [9] as well as the EP Temple via Eye.On Lion Recordings. [10] Since the release of Temple, the band has recorded two cover songs: "Emerald" by Thin Lizzy [11] and "March of the Pigs" by Nine Inch Nails, [12] as well as released two singles, "Breath of Light" [11] and "Last Ghost to Kill". [13]

The band has released two music videos to date. The first, debuted on MTV2's Headbanger's Ball on May 17, 2009 for 'Earth's Final Embrace'. [14] and their second, fifteen years later, for 'Prelude To Apostasy' [15] and is not suitable for all viewers.

The band toured with DevilDriver, Suffocation, and Goatwhore [16] with fill-in bassist Jeff Golden who would later go on to join Crowbar. [17]

In 2012, the band performed with Metallica at Orion Music + More, [18] as well as Party to the Apocalypse 2012 starring Shadows Fall, God Forbid and Trumpet the Harlot. [19] [20] [21]

In December 2015, Thy Will Be Done had been working on the follow-up to their Temple EP when the band's drummer, Jay Waterman, suffered cardiac arrest amidst tracking the band's new album, resulting in a provisional break from performances for the band. [22]

Overcast drummer Jay Fitzgerald filled in for the band's drummer, Jay Waterman, during the band's tour supporting Sworn Enemy on their 'As Real As It Gets' 15th Anniversary run of dates in 2018. Jay Waterman had released the statement: "We've known Jay Fitz for a very long time and love him as a person and a player. We knew he could pull it off in such a short amount of time and he did!" Waterman continued, "Sorry that I can't be there but, I can't wait to get out there and ROCK with all of you!" [23]

On May 26, 2020, while reporting on the band's new single, "Last Ghost to Kill", the site, MetalSucks, incorrectly reported that drummer Jay Waterman had died. [24] [25]

Thy Will Be Done has been occasionally misidentified as a "religious band", but they do not have a religious agenda and think that that is mainly a "personal journey". [26]

Midas Fate is a progressive metal band founded by guitarist Vitor Campos in 2009. The band has released one single entitled "What Dreams May Come" in 2011 with Mike DiMeo, former singer of the bands Riot and Masterplan through CodiShift Records. In 2013 they announced their new drummer, Aquiles Priester. A full-length album, called "Magnificent Rebel" was set to be released by the end of 2013, but according to the band's Facebook page, there is no release date yet for the new album.
