The Georgia Republican Party is the affiliate of the Republican Party in the U.S. state of Georgia and one of the two major political parties and the current favored party in the state and is currently chaired by Joshua McKoon.

She is a former co-owner of the Atlanta Dream of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Loeffler is a member of the Republican Party.

While the runoff was initially scheduled for December 3,it was moved by Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to the January 5,2021 runoff,alongside the runoff elections for both Senate seats.

The Republican Party decisively won every single statewide office in Georgia except for the Federal Senate race which narrowly went Democratic in 2022.

He is a former owner of the Atlanta Beats soccer club.
