Yungun (a.k.a. Essa) is a British hip hop artist. He released his debut album The Essance on Janomi Records in 2004. He was born in North London, where he currently works and resides.

He was educated at Eton College.
He began his musical career as a host and MC on pirate radio station Parlay in Harrow during the mid-1990s. There he formed the group Dupa Styles with fellow MCs M.E. Moon and Devise.
In 1998 Yungun made contact with Harry Love who began to play the role of Dupa Styles's DJ and Producer. Whilst still recording with the group, Yungun began a solo career, appearing on projects by LG & Lopez (City Breaks), Evil Ed (The Art of Celebration) Doc Brown (Out There) and Tommy Evans (Four Horsemen, Silent Mobius).
Yungun has worked with many different UK artists including Jehst and Lewis Parker.
Yungun tours both nationally and internationally,[ citation needed ] and regularly receives airplay from such DJs as Radio One's Steve Lamacq, [1] Zane Lowe, [2] Gilles Peterson [3] Bethan and Huw, [4] Vic Galloway [5] and has performed a live studio set on Ras Kwame's show. [6] Aside from this, Yungun has also presented a feature-length show for BBC Radio 1Xtra as well as being interviewed and featured on shows from presenters such as DJ Blakey, [7] DJ Semtex, [8] Rodney P and Skitz, [9] DJ Kayper, [10] Benji B [11] and Bobby Friction. [12] He has also been interviewed by Craig Charles on BBC 6 Music, and is regularly played on the station's 6mix show, [13] as well as by numerous other Radio 6 DJs such as Tom Robinson, [14] Phill Jupitus, [15] Chris Hawkins [16] Gary Burton, [17] Liz Kershaw [18] and Andrew Collins, [19] and has had live concerts broadcast on GCap Media's XFM Station.
In 2005 Yungun performed with a full live band for the BBC Africa Season at BBC's Maida Vale Studios. The show was broadcast in a special feature show on 1Xtra. [20]
He has been featured numerous publications including regular spots in Hip-Hop Connection . [21] [ failed verification ] He has also performed on international festival tours, such as Love Planet and Hip-Hop Kemp,[ citation needed ] he also appeared at the 2006 Bestival Festival with The Nextmen. [22] He also hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards and MTV's Cannes Film Festival party.[ citation needed ]
In 2006 he released a new album, Grown Man Business, with Mr Thing, to critical acclaim.[ citation needed ]
Timothy Westwood is a British DJ and presenter. He is often referred to by other DJs and artists appearing on his shows simply as Westwood. Skinnyman is a British rapper who was born in Chapeltown Leeds, Yorkshire and moved to Finsbury Park, London at a young age. He grew up on the Six Acres Estate next to Andover Estate. Among his friends was fellow Leeds-born, London-raised Cornwall DJ Pat Mckay.

Mr Thing is a British hip hop producer. He is a former member of the Scratch Perverts. He has worked with such artists as Yungun, Doc Brown and Devise. Mr Thing was also the winner of the 2000 DMC UK DJ Championships, and the holder of the 1999 DMC World Team Championships as part of The Scratch Perverts.

DJ Skitz or Skitz is a British DJ and music producer. He was born in 1970 in Cambridgeshire and started DJing in 1991. He has compiled a number of British Hip Hop compilations and other Hip Hop compilations. Along with Rodney P he produced the first track to ever be played on BBC Radio 1Xtra in 2002, when the station launched; the BBC called Skitz a "hip-hop star". They also presented a weekly show on the station called "Original Fever", which formed the backbone of the radio station, until 2007. The Independent considered it the "show of the week" on the radio station. In 2008 he competed in the DMC UK DJ Championship. He had also created his own record label, Titan Sounds.

William Brown, better known as Compa, is a British electronic musician and DJ from Clitheroe, Lancashire, who began releasing music in 2011. Compa first rose to prominence following his self-released remix of Mavado's Dem A Talk in 2012, followed by his signing to Mala's label Deep Medi Musik the same year, although he did not release his debut record for the label until 2013. In a review of the record, Boomkat described Compa as "Keeper of Dubstep's Darkest Light"
