Surya "Sury" Kant is a Senior Advisor at Tata Sons Private Limited. He was the Chairman of TCS North American operations based in New York City until March 2022. Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) is the largest global information technology consulting and services company located in India.

In 1990s, Kant was appointed the head of operations for TCS in the United Kingdom. Until 2005, he served as the Head of Operations for the India Northern Region of TCS and until 2020 served as the President of the North America, Europe and the UK operations. [ citation needed ]

Kant is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and academic institutions. Kant served as an advisory board member of the British-American Business, and the past Chairman of the India Business Forum (IBF) of the Confederation of India (CII) in the US.[ citation needed ] He was a member of the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) CEO Council and a member of the Fortune CEO Initiative. He served on the Greater New York Red Cross Board from February 2020 to March 2022. He joined CECP (Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose) Board in May 2020 and in April 2022 was appointed as the Board Member Emeritus.

Subramanian Ramadorai was the Adviser to the Prime Minister of India in the National Council on Skill Development, Government of India. Cyrus Pallonji Mistry was an Indian born Irish businessman. He was the chairman of the Tata Group, an Indian business conglomerate, from 2012 to 2016. He was the sixth chairman of the group, and only the second not to bear the surname Tata. In mid-2012, he was chosen by a selection panel to head the Tata Group and took charge in December that year. In October 2016, the board of Tata Group's holding company, Tata Sons, voted to remove Mistry from the post of chairman. Former chairman Ratan Tata then returned as interim chairman, and Natarajan Chandrasekaran was named as the new chairman a few months later. However, in December 2019, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) declared the appointment of Chandrasekaran as executive chairman illegal, and restored Mistry. However, the Supreme Court stayed NCLAT's order on 10 January 2020. Mistry had filed a cross-appeal in the court, seeking explanations for anomalies in the NCLAT. However, the Supreme Court upheld his dismissal.

Before Viom Networks, Syed was with Reliance Communications Limited (RCom) as the President and CEO of the Wireless Business and Chairman of the Reliance Management Board. He worked with RCom for over two years. He was earlier with Bharti Airtel Limited as the executive director, responsible for the East and West India operations along with the international wireless operations. In his earlier role at Airtel, he was also responsible for the global calling cards business and the B2B business of mobile services. The firm was officially launched in 2004 as a fully owned subsidiary of Infosys chaired by N. R. Narayana Murthy, one of the co-founders of Infosys. Ishaat Hussain is an Indian businessman and the former director of Tata Sons and Tata Steel, and chairman of Tata Sky. He was also chairman of the Tata Group company, Voltas. Between November 2016 and September 2017, he served as the interim chairman of Tata Consultancy Services, following the removal of Cyrus Mistry. He joined the Tata Group in 1981 and retired in September 2017.
