Eleutherian College, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993 and declared a National Historic Landmark in 1997, was founded as Eleutherian Institute in 1848 by a group of local anti-slavery Baptists at Lancaster in Jefferson County. The institute's name comes from the Greek word eleutheros, meaning "freedom and equality." The school admitted students without regard to ethnicity or gender, including freed and fugitive slaves. Its first classes began offering secondary school instruction on November 27, 1848. The school was renamed Eleutherian College in 1854, when it began offering college-level coursework. It is the second college in the United States west of the Allegheny Mountains and the first in Indiana to provide interracial education. The restored three-story stone chapel and classroom building was constructed between 1853 and 1856 and presently serves as a local history museum.
Little Cedar Grove Baptist Church was organized in 1797 by some of the early Primitive Baptist settlers of Franklin County, Indiana. The historic church building, constructed in 1812, is the oldest church in the state of Indiana still standing on its original foundation.
The Corydon Historic District is a national historic district located in Corydon, Indiana, United States. The town of Corydon is also known as Indiana's First State Capital and as Historic Corydon. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, but the listing was amended in 1988 to expand the district's geographical boundaries and include additional sites. The district includes numerous historical structures, most notably the Old Capitol, the Old Treasury Building, Governor Hendricks' Headquarters, the Constitution Elm Memorial, the Posey House, the Kintner-McGrain House, and The Kintner House Inn, as well as other residential and commercial sites.

Rd. 56S in Cass Township, Clay County, Indiana. It was built in 1869, and is a gable-front, vernacular frame building with Gothic Revival style design elements. It has a high pitched roof and triangular upper sashes. A vestibule and tower were added in 1893. The adjacent cemetery was founded in 1886, and includes nearly 400 headstones.
Old Union Church and Cemetery is a historic church and cemetery located in Reeve Township, Daviess County, Indiana. The church was built in 1858, and is a one-story, Greek Revival style frame building. It is sheathed in clapboard and has a gable roof. It features a projecting entrance tower added about 1900. The adjacent cemetery contains about 1,000 burials; the earliest marked burial was in 1823. Also on the property are the contributing shelter house and privy.

The main church was built in 1901, and is a one-story, rectangular High Victorian Gothic style frame building. It has a front gable roof and rests on a stone foundation. It features a large steeple structure consisting of a square tower, octagonal drum, and spire. Also on the property are the contributing cemetery, schoolhouse (1889), and parsonage (1891).

It was built in 1920, and is a one-story, rectangular, vernacular Late Gothic Revival style frame building. It features a square projecting belfry. At the time of its listing, the property was then vacant, and was owned by the West Baden Historical Society. It was deemed significant in the area of "Ethnic heritage: Black".

St. John's Lutheran Church is a historic former Lutheran church located in Harrison Township, Elkhart County, Indiana. It was built in 1852–1853 by Albert Galentine on land owned by John Rarick, Sr., who deeded the land to the "Evangelical Lutheran Church" in 1855. Services at the church ended in 1894 after John Rarick, Jr., the congregation's largest financial supporter, moved to the Elkhart area.
Old Franklin United Brethren Church, now known as Old Franklin United Methodist Church, is a historic United Brethren church located at Fairfield Township, Franklin County, Indiana. It was built in 1831, and is a one-story, five bay, Federal style brick building. It has a central cross gable at the vestibule topped by a bell tower and steeple added in 1910. Surrounding the church on three sides is a cemetery with gravestones dating to the 1830s and 1840s.
Richsquare Friends Meetinghouse and Cemetery is an historic Quaker meeting house and cemetery located in Franklin Township, Henry County, Indiana. The meeting house was built in 1895, and is a one-story, brick building with a two-story Romanesque Revival style corner tower. A concrete block rear addition was built in 1955. It sits on a limestone foundation and has a steep gable roof. The adjacent cemetery was established in 1832 and remain an active burial ground with over 383 marked graves.

Also on the property is the contributing cemetery, which accepted its first burial in 1849, and the church's 19th century bell.
