Centerfield, New York

Centerfield is a hamlet in Ontario County, New York, United States, located in the Town of Canandaigua. [1] It is between the City of Canandaigua and the Town of Bloomfield.

The community is located on conjoined US Route 20 and New York State Route 5 (known locally as Routes 5 and 20) west of the City of Canandaigua.

Kanadaseaga, was a major village, perhaps a capital, of the Seneca nation of the Iroquois Confederacy in west-central New York State, United States. It was located between the northern ends of Seneca and Canandaigua lakes, one and a half miles northwest of the present-day city of Geneva in the township of Seneca. The village was situated on both sides of Kanadaseaga Creek. The Seneca established this village at least as early as 1687. It was likely established by the former residents of Ganondagan, after its destruction by the French.

Pageant of Steam is an annual steam fair held on Gehan Road near Canandaigua, New York between Rochester and Syracuse. It started in 1960 and is hosted by the New York Steam Engine Association.

Cheshire is a hamlet in the Town of Canandaigua, Ontario County, New York, United States, located near Canandaigua Lake. It is located 7 miles (11 km) south-southwest of the City of Canandaigua, at an elevation of 1,024 feet. The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are N.Y. Route 21, Woolhouse Road and Goodale Road. U.S. Route 20 and New York State Route 5 pass just north of Cheshire.
