Dunbar is an unincorporated community located in Houston County, Georgia, United States, located in the extreme northwestern corner of Houston County, one mile east of U.S. Route 41 at the intersection of Dunbar and Houston Lake Roads. It is part of the Warner Robins, Georgia Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The community of Dunbar dates back to at least 1915, as it appeared on official Georgia maps. The community is named for the Dunbar family, who once owned much of the surrounding land. Dunbar has never been an incorporated city and is not recognized as a community on most maps. However, there are signs that designate the area as "Dunbar Community".
A Holiday Food Store is the only business in Dunbar. Also known simply as "The Corner Store", it sells gasoline and groceries.
The Crossroads Trading Post, which is now defunct, is located across from the Holiday Food Store. It has been closed for over ten years, but the building is still there and is merely used for storage by the former owners.
The primary industry in Dunbar is agriculture. There are a few farms located within Dunbar which yield cattle, pecans, strawberries, and cotton.
Westside Baptist Church came to Dunbar in 2002. It is the only place of worship in Dunbar.

Hickory Flat is an unincorporated community in southeastern Cherokee County, Georgia, United States. It geographic center is now a triangle formed by GA 140 on the north and east, Hickory Rd on the south, and East Cherokee Drive on the west. This triangle is now the business hub of the community with two shopping centers anchored by grocery stores. It also contains the Hickory Flat Public Library and the Sequoyah High School educational complex which includes feeder schools; Hickory Flat Elementary and Dean Rusk Middle School.

Dooly State Prison (DSP) is a medium security facility located in Unadilla, Georgia, United States. The complex began its construction in 1993 and opened in 1994. It houses male inmates who are not suitable for a county prison due to their offense or physical limitations, primarily sex offenders. It can house up to 1702 prisoners in dorms that are triple bunks, double bunks, with some single beds. There is a separate unit for incorrigible inmates.
Orangefair Marketplace is a community shopping center in Fullerton, California which when built was one of the earliest large shopping centers in Orange County, California. along with Anaheim Plaza and Orange County Plaza. It is located at the southeast corner of Harbor Boulevard and Orangethorpe Avenue, a mile south of Fullerton's historic downtown.
