H.O.T. is a South Korean boy band that was created by SM Entertainment in 1996. They are considered to be the first K-pop idol group and their successful formula became the model for many K-pop groups that followed them. The group consisted of five members: Moon Hee-joon, Jang Woo-hyuk, Tony Ahn, Kangta, and Lee Jae-won.
Hwang Jung-min is a South Korean actor. He established himself as a leading man in the romantic drama You Are My Sunshine (2005). One of the highest-grossing actors in South Korea, Hwang has starred in several box office hits such as The Unjust (2010), Dancing Queen (2012), New World (2013), Ode to My Father (2014), Veteran (2015), The Himalayas (2015), A Violent Prosecutor (2016), The Wailing (2016), The Spy Gone North (2018), Deliver Us from Evil (2020), 12.12: The Day (2023). His performance in the latter earned him Best Actor at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards.
Shin Kyuk-ho, known in Japan as Shigemitsu Takeo, was a Zainichi Korean businessman known for being the founder of the South Korean-Japanese conglomerate Lotte Corporation (Group), now one of the largest chaebols in South Korea.
Children's Grand Park (Korean: 어린이대공원) or Seoul Children's Grand Park is a park complex in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Facilities at Children's Grand Park include hills and hiking trails, Zoo, garden, and an amusement park. Children's Grand Park is a leisure facility for families, offering a botanical garden, amusement facilities, and diverse performance events. The facility first opened on Children's Day, 1975.
Hong Joon-pyo, also spelled as Hong Jun-pyo, is a South Korean politician and former prosecutor who is the current Mayor of Daegu. He previously served as the governor of South Gyeongsang Province, a member of the National Assembly for five terms, and the party leader of the conservative Grand National Party in 2011 and its successor incarnation the Liberty Korea Party from 2017 to 2018.
Jo Hyu-il, better known as The Black Skirts (Korean: 검정치마), is an indie rock musician based in South Korea. In 2010, he released his debut album, 201, which won Best Modern Rock Album at the 2010 Korean Music Awards. He has since released the albums, Don't You Worry Baby (2011), Team Baby (2017), Thirsty (2019) and Teen Troubles (2022).
Kang Ji-hyun, known professionally as Soyou, is a South Korean singer. She is best known as a former member of the South Korean girl group Sistar.

Kim Se-jeong, known mononymously as Sejeong, is a South Korean singer and actress. She finished second in Mnet's girl group survival show Produce 101, becoming a member of the project girl group I.O.I. She was also a member of Jellyfish Entertainment's girl group Gugudan. She is currently active as a solo artist and actress, best known for her lead roles in the television series School 2017 (2017), The Uncanny Counter (2020–2023), and Business Proposal (2022).

The 2018 opinion rigging scandal in South Korea is a political scandal that erupted in April 2018 after a group of ardent supporters of the South Korean President Moon Jae-in had been charged with online opinion rigging. The accused suspects were the members of the ruling Democratic Party (DPK). The main perpetrator, as well as the leader of the pro-Moon group, was a well-known power-blogger called "Druking."

Choi Min-gi, known professionally as Ren (Korean: 렌), is a South Korean singer, actor and television personality.
