The Nokia 701 is a smartphone from Nokia released in Q4 2011. It shipped with the "Belle" version of Symbian^3. It has a 3.5" IPS-LCD display with 640 x 360 pixels. The brightness of the display is 1000 nits (which Nokia called the brightest display in the world) [1] and uses Gorilla Glass. [2] Nokia announced the phone on 24 August 2011. [3] Its design is very much based on that of the Nokia C7. [4] A Nokia Belle update (Feature Pack 1) increased the processor speed of the 701 from 1.0 GHz to 1.3 GHz. [5]

Its roots date back to U.S.-based Navteq in 1985, which was acquired by Finland-based Nokia in 2007. Here is currently based in The Netherlands.

Nokia N86 8MP

The Nokia N86 8MP is a high-end smartphone announced on 17 February 2009 and released in May 2009. It runs on Symbian OS 9.3 and is part of the Nseries. It shares similar design features with the N97.

MixRadio

MixRadio was an online music streaming service owned by Line Corporation. The service was first introduced by Nokia in 2011 as Nokia Music for Windows Phone, serving as a successor to Nokia's previous Nokia Music Store/Comes with Music/Ovi Music Store initiatives, which was based on the LoudEye/OD2 platform. After its acquisition of Nokia's mobile phone business, the service was briefly maintained by Microsoft Mobile Oy before it was sold to Japanese internet company Line Corporation in 2015. Following the acquisition, MixRadio expanded to Android and iOS in May 2015.

The Nokia X6 is a music-oriented capacitive touchscreen semi smartphone and portable entertainment device by Nokia. It was announced in early September 2009 during Nokia World 2009 in Germany.

Symbian Discontinued mobile operating system

Symbian is a discontinued mobile operating system (OS) and computing platform designed for smartphones. Symbian was originally developed as a proprietary software OS for PDAs in 1998 by the Symbian Ltd. consortium. Symbian OS is a descendant of Psion's EPOC, and was released exclusively on ARM processors, although an unreleased x86 port existed. Symbian was used by many major mobile phone brands, like Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, and above all by Nokia. It was also prevalent in Japan by brands including Fujitsu, Sharp and Mitsubishi. As a pioneer that established the smartphone industry, it was the most popular smartphone OS on a worldwide average until the end of 2010—at a time when smartphones were in limited use—when it was overtaken by iOS and Android. It was notably not as popular in North America.

Nokia N8

The Nokia N8 is a touchscreen-based smartphone developed by Nokia. Announced on 27 April 2010, the Nokia N8 was the first device to run on the Symbian^3 mobile operating system and it was the company's flagship device for the year. It was released on 30 September 2010 at the Nokia Online Store before being released in markets around the world on 1 October 2010. There were two version made, the N8 and the N8-00. The N8 was made for Vodafone and locked to its networks, and the N8-00 was made by Microsoft and open network.

The Nokia 5250 is a budget Nokia resistive touchscreen smartphone running on Symbian v9.4 operating system with a S60 5th Edition user interface. Its price before tax and subsidies is €115. It was announced in August 2010. It was available in China, Eurasia, Europe, India, Latin America, Middle East, and South East Asia and the Pacific Region. It is very small and compact. It comes preloaded with Guitar Hero Mobile series 5.

Nokia C7-00

The Nokia C7-00 is a smartphone from the Nokia Cseries. It was introduced on 14 September 2010 and released in Q4 2010. The C7-00 features a 3.5-inch (89 mm), 640 x 360 pixel capacitive touchscreen and features 720p video recording, and was also the world's first smartphone to have NFC capability. Nokia's mobile phone business head Anssi Vanjoki called it the "sleekest" device in the world. Unlike the Nokia N8 flagship, the C7 has physical call and hangup buttons.

Nokia E6

The Nokia E6-00 is a smartphone running the Symbian^3 operating system. It supersedes the Nokia E72 as the new Symbian business mobility solution from Nokia following its announcement on 12 April 2011. It shipped with the new "Symbian Anna" version of Symbian^3, and originally retailed for 340 euros before taxes.

Nokia N9 Smartphone model

The Nokia N9 is a smartphone developed by Nokia, running on the Linux-based MeeGo mobile operating system. Announced in June 2011 and released in September, it was the first and only device from Nokia with MeeGo, partly because of the company's partnership with Microsoft announced that year. It was initially released in three colors: black, cyan and magenta, before a white version was announced at Nokia World 2011.

Nokia X7-00

The Nokia X7-00 is a Symbian^3 smartphone from the Nokia Xseries. It is the first Xseries phone with Nokia's Symbian^3 platform and it shipped with the Anna update. It is also the successor to X6, which was the previous multimedia touchscreen phone, with similar features and specifications in the series. The X7-00 was announced on 12 April 2011, alongside the Nokia E6.

Nokia's strategic nomenclature can be traced back in 2005 when the Nseries line was launched, offering devices with flagship specifications and premium hardware at various price points. These devices were considered the "bread and butter" of the company and were often positioned to showcase their latest technologies. Thanks to the newfound consumer and enterprise interest in smartphones at the time, the company introduced four additional collections to diversify their product portfolio and meet demands in most market segments. These new phone series were named Eseries, targeting small business and enterprise customers; Xseries, providing consumer-grade multimedia-focused devices; Cseries, which Nokia used to target both the low-end and mid-range market segments; and Tseries, for devices exclusive to the Chinese market.

The Nokia 700 is an ultra slim smartphone running Nokia Belle, announced on 24 August 2011. It was released in September 2011. When it was new, Nokia claimed that the 700 was their "greenest smartphone to date".

Nokia Lumia 710

Nokia Lumia 710 is a Windows Phone 7 smartphone. Its release is part of a change in company's direction which has resulted in a shift from Symbian platform towards Windows Phone for smartphones. While the Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 900 target the high-end of the smartphone marketplace, the Lumia 610 and Lumia 710 are aimed at the mid-range price point. This generation of Lumia phones ship with Windows Phone 7.5 "Mango". Its design is almost the same as the Symbian Nokia 603, announced just over a week earlier.

Nokia 603 Multi touch smartphone

The Nokia 603 is a Symbian smartphone announced on 13 October 2011. It ships with the Symbian Belle OS. Later with the release of Nokia 808 PureView, an update of Belle Feature Pack 2 was released for the phone. Nokia 603 is a low-cost device featuring a 3.5-inch ClearBlack display, 1.0 GHz processor, and NFC.

Microsoft mobile services are a set of proprietary mobile services created specifically for mobile devices, they are typically offered through mobile applications and mobile browser for Windows Phone, | platforms, BREW, and Java. Microsoft's mobile services are typically connected with a Microsoft account and often come preinstalled on Microsoft's own mobile operating systems while they are offered via various means for other platforms. Microsoft started to develop for mobile computing platforms with the launch of Windows CE in 1996 and later added Microsoft's Pocket Office suite to their Handheld PC line of PDAs in April 2000. From December 2014 to June 2015, Microsoft made a number of corporate acquisitions, buying several of the top applications listed in Google Play and the App Store including Acompli, Sunrise Calendar, Datazen, Wunderlist, Echo Notification Lockscreen, and MileIQ.

The Nokia 3-digit series are a series of feature and smartphones by HMD Global and previously by Microsoft Mobile and Nokia, generally aimed at developing markets.

Here WeGo Web mapping and navigation service

HERE WeGo is a web mapping and navigation service, operated by Here Technologies. Originally developed by Nokia as HERE Maps, the mapping software application was first released for Windows Phone and the World Wide Web in 2013 as a revamped version of Nokia Maps. The Here Maps application was then released for the Android platform on 10 December 2014 and later for iOS on 11 March 2015, and the name was changed to Here WeGo in July 2016. It is also the default maps service provider for the Amazon Fire tablets and smartphone.
