The Purcellville Cannons are a collegiate summer baseball team in Purcellville, Virginia. They play in the north division of the Valley Baseball League. The team plays its home games at Fireman's Field, located adjacent to historic Bush Tabernacle. [1]
The Wranglers were the second team to represent Luray in the Valley League. The Luray Colonials competed in the Valley League from 1958 to 1969. The Colonials won the Valley Baseball League championship for four years straight, from 1965 to 1968.

The River City Rascals were a professional baseball team based in O'Fallon, Missouri, in the United States. The Rascals were a member of the West Division of the Frontier League, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball. The Waynesboro Generals are a collegiate summer baseball team in Waynesboro, Virginia. They play in the southern division of the Valley Baseball League. The Generals have won six Valley League playoff championships: in 1984, 1988, 1998, 2007, 2013, and 2014, making them one of the most winning organizations of the league during that time. The Generals were founded in 1923 and have been playing continuously since then with the exception of a ten-year period between 1955 and 1964.

The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) is a 16-team collegiate summer baseball league founded in 2010. As of 2022, all teams are within New York (state). All players in the league must have NCAA eligibility remaining in order to participate. Players are not paid so as to maintain their college eligibility. Each team plays an eight-week, 48 game schedule from June to August with playoffs in early August.
The Tabernacle-Fireman's Field is a historic meeting site and picnic grounds located at Purcellville, Loudoun County, Virginia, US. The property includes the Bush Meeting Taberbacle. It is an eight-sided, frame building measuring approximately 80 feet by 160 feet. It was originally built to house the "Bush Meetings" that were conducted by the Prohibition and Evangelical Association of Loudoun County, Virginia. The 8,500 square foot building could accommodate 3,000 seats. In 1939, it was converted into a skating roller rink, a function it has continued to serve. It closed temporarily in 2009 but reopened a year later. Also on the property are two contributing barbeque pits and a picnic pavilion. Fireman's Field, which serves as the home to the Purcellville Cannons of the Valley Baseball League, is on the property as well.
The 100 Mile House Wranglers are a junior 'A' ice hockey team based in 100 Mile House, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Doug Birks Division of the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL). The Wranglers play their home games at the South Cariboo Rec Centre. Tom Bachynski is the team's governor and Lee Hansen coach. They are currently captained by no one.
The 2002 Atlantic 10 Conference Baseball Championship was held at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, CT from May 16 through 20 (preliminaries) and Pitt Field in Richmond, Virginia, from May 22 through 24. It featured the top six regular-season finishers of the conference's 12 teams, regardless of division. 2002 was the first season that the tournament was expanded to six teams. Top-seeded Richmond defeated Massachusetts in the title game to win the tournament for the first time, earning the Atlantic 10's automatic bid to the 2002 NCAA tournament.
The Troy Trojans are the sports teams of Troy University. They began playing in the NCAA's Division I-A in 2001, became a football only member of the Sun Belt Conference in 2004, and joined that conference for all other sports in 2005. Troy University's athletics nickname was the Red Wave until the early 1970s when the student body voted to change the name to Trojans.
The Edenton Colonials were a minor league baseball team based in Edenton, North Carolina. In 1951 and 1952, the Colonials played as members of the Class D level Virginia League in 1951 and Coastal Plain League in 1952, winning the 1952 league championship in their final season of play. The Edenton Colonials hosted home games at the Historic Hicks Field.
