Background and release

Fluxus Music announced the group's fourth studio album in October 2014, releasing a 36-second teaser video on October 30. [2] A pre-released track titled "Consolation" had its music video released a day before the album, which was released on November 4. [3] The album contains 9 tracks, including the song "Like A Bird" which was released in May as a single. The album's title track, "Self-hatred", also had its music video released on November 7. It features actor Goo Won. [4] [5]

"Consolation" and "Self-Hatred" ranked at 21 and 69 on the Gaon Singles Chart respectively on the first week of the album's release. [6]

Nell is a South Korean alternative rock band formed in 2001. The band consists of lead vocalist, keyboardist and guitarist Kim Jong-wan, lead guitarist Lee Jae-kyung, bass guitarist Lee Jung-hoon and drummer Jung Jae-won. Hello Venus South Korean girl group

Hello Venus was a South Korean girl group formed by Tricell Media. The group originally consisted of: Alice, Nara, Lime, Yooara, Yoonjo, and Yooyoung. They debuted with the lead single "Venus" from their debut extended play of the same name on May 9, 2012. In July 2014, Fantagio and Pledis ended their Tricell Media joint ventures. Yooara and Yoonjo remained under Pledis, with the other four members continuing their group activities under Fantagio. In October 2014, Fantagio introduced two new members: Seoyoung and Yeoreum. After the members' contracts expired on 8 May 2019, the group officially disbanded. The group is most notable for songs such as: "Sticky Sticky", "Wiggle Wiggle" and "I'm Ill".

Sexy, Free & Single is the sixth Korean studio album of South Korean boy band Super Junior. It was released on July 4, 2012, by SM Entertainment, distributed by KMP Holdings and available from online music portal sites at midnight on July 1, 2012. It is their first album in 11 months following Mr. Simple released in August 2011. This was followed by the release of Version B on July 16, with a different cover which features the 10 members in their teaser photo makeup. Modern Times is the third Korean-language studio album by South Korean singer-songwriter IU. It was released on October 8, 2013 by LOEN Entertainment under its imprint LOEN Tree. Spellbound, known as Surisuri in Korean, is the repackage of Tense (2014), the seventh Korean studio album by South Korean pop duo TVXQ. It was released on February 27, 2014 by S.M. Entertainment, almost two months after the original record. The repackage features three newly recorded songs, including the lead single "Spellbound". The repackage had two-day shipments of 61,405 copies and debuted at number two on the Gaon Albums Chart. It sold 110,566 physical units in 2014, becoming TVXQ's best-selling repackage album on the chart.

<i>Pink Blossom</i> 2014 EP by Apink

Pink Blossom is the fourth mini-album by South Korean girl group Apink, released on March 31, 2014. Group leader, Chorong, wrote two songs for the album. The music video for title track "Mr. Chu", composed by Duble Sidekick, was released on March 31 along with the album. The song peaked at number 2 on Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100. Apink won six music show trophies for "Mr. Chu" and the song was the eighth best selling digital song in 2014, according to Gaon's year-end chart. They released the music video for "Crystal" on June 14. Pink Blossom was the second best selling album of the week of its release on the Gaon Weekly chart and charted at #31 on the 2014 Gaon Annual Album chart with 66,139 copies sold, becoming the fourth best selling girl group album of the year.

Urban Zakapa

Urban Zakapa is a South Korean R&B singer-songwriter group formed in 2009 by Fluxus Music. Originally a 9-member group, in 2012 they became a trio, consisting of Park Yong-in, Jo Hyunah and Kwon Soon-il. The group's name is an abbreviation for Urban, Zappy, Kaleidoscopic, and Passionate.

On January 15, 2020, a repackage edition of Purpose was released including three new songs, including title track "Dear Me". Musically, it is a pop record that contains influences of ballad, R&B, blues and jazz. The album was originally set to be released on October 22, 2019, but was postponed until October 28 due to the passing of Sulli.
