1.3.8. is a compilation album by death metal band Devourment, released in 2000 by Corpse Gristle. [1] The album was reissued in 2004 by Displeased Records [2] and Unmatched Brutality Records [3] with an upgraded layout and new artwork. 1.3.8 was also released as a limited edition record by the label Night of the Vinyl Dead. [4] It includes one new song called "Babykiller", the three tracks from the Impaled demo, and all eight tracks from Molesting the Decapitated . [4]

Leftöver Crack is an American punk rock band formed in 1998, following the breakup of Choking Victim. Leftöver Crack spans several different music genres including hardcore punk, ska, and crust punk. They write mostly political lyrics of a radical leftist nature, opposing religion, capitalism, and authority. Members of Leftöver Crack reside in the C-Squat on 155 Avenue C in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Natives of New York City, band members have a well-documented history of back-and-forth conflict with the NYPD which precedes the band's formation. The name "Leftöver Crack" is explained by Stza as being "an oxymoron", based on the idea that crack cocaine addicts are known for vigorous use and are unlikely to have any "leftover" crack.

The Crossing is the debut album released by Scottish band Big Country. The album reached #3 in the UK; overseas, it hit #4 in Canada on the RPM national Top Albums Chart and #18 in the US on the Billboard 200 in 1983. It went on to be certified platinum in the UK and Canada. It contains the song "In a Big Country" which is their only U.S. Top 40 hit single. Stuart Adamson and fellow guitarist Bruce Watson used the MXR Pitch Transposer 129 effect pedal to create a guitar sound reminiscent of bagpipes. Also contributing to the band's unique sound was their use of the e-bow, a hand-held device which, through the use of magnets, causes the strings of an electric guitar to vibrate producing a soft attack which sounds more like strings or synthesizer.

A Gate Through Bloodstained Mirrors is a 2001 demo by the American black metal one-man-band Xasthur. Reviews of that release, first published by Profane Productions as a limited CD-R edition of 150 copies, proved to be positive, comparing the material to old Graveland and Burzum. With the increasing cult status of Xasthur, the demo was reissued by Total Holocaust Records, featuring a different mix and track list. This edition was also published as a double-12" vinyl release by Debemur Morti Productions (2004) and finally by Hydra Head Records. The record is rumored to have influenced at least one suicide.

Necrowretch is a French death metal band from Valence, Rhône-Alpes; formed in 2008. After recording demos through Skeleton Plague Records, Aural Offerings Records, and releasing 2 EPs through Detest Records; Necrowretch signed to Century Media Records on 6 February 2012.
