101 Hudson Street, also known as the Merrill Lynch Building, in the Exchange Place neighborhood of Jersey City, New Jersey, is the seventh-tallest building in Jersey City, and the sixth-tallest in the state of New Jersey. Completed in 1992, it has 42 stories, and reaches a height of 167 meters (548 feet). It was the second tallest building in New Jersey after the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort until 30 Hudson Street was completed in 2004. The building was designed by Brennan Beer Gorman / Architects LLP. [4] Merrill Lynch and American International Group are among the tenants.
Upper floors have unobstructed views of Manhattan to the east. Some views south include New York Bay and the Statue of Liberty while others include 30 Hudson Street and the two residential high rises of Hudson Greene.
The building is host to several nesting sites for Peregrine Falcons. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Projection, Division of Fish & Wildlife, maintains a Jersey City Peregrine Cam at some of the sites on the building. [5]
Truist Plaza is a 265 m (869 ft) 60 story skyscraper in downtown Atlanta. It was designed by John C. Portman, Jr. of John Portman & Associates and built from 1989 to 1992. In the mid-1990s, Portman sold half of his interest in the building to SunTrust Banks, which then moved its headquarters to the building and prompted a name change from One Peachtree Center to SunTrust Plaza. In 2021 the building changed its name to Truist Plaza, following a merger between SunTrust Banks and BB&T. The building is also known as 303 Peachtree. The building has a roof height of 871 feet and stands a total of 902 feet tall, including its antenna. When completed, Truist Plaza stood as the world's 28th tallest building and 21st tallest building in the United States. Now it is not in the top 400 in the world, and it is currently the 55th tallest building in the United States and 2nd tallest building in Atlanta.
555 California Street, formerly Bank of America Center, is a 52-story 779 ft (237 m) skyscraper in San Francisco, California. It is the fourth tallest building in the city as of February 2021, and in 2013 was the largest by floor area. Completed in 1969, the tower was the tallest building west of the Mississippi River until the completion of the Transamerica Pyramid in 1972, and the world headquarters of Bank of America until the 1998 merger with NationsBank, when the company moved its headquarters to the Bank of America Corporate Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is currently owned by Vornado Realty Trust and The Trump Organization.
30 Hudson Street, also known as Goldman Sachs Tower, is a 781 ft (238 m), 42-story building in Jersey City, New Jersey. It is the second tallest building in New Jersey. Completed in 2004, the tower was designed by César Pelli, and was the tallest building in the state for 14 years. It houses offices, a cafeteria, a health unit, and a full-service fitness facility including a physical therapy clinic.
Exchange Place is a district of Downtown Jersey City, New Jersey that is sometimes referred to as Wall Street West due to the concentration of financial companies that have offices there. The namesake is a square, about 200 feet long, at the foot of Montgomery Street at the waterfront of the Hudson River. This square was created by landfilling the shore at Paulus Hook, and has been a major transportation hub since the colonial era.
Merrill Creek Reservoir, located in Harmony Township, New Jersey in central Warren County, New Jersey, is a 650-acre (260 ha) artificial lake designed to hold 15 billion gallons of water that is surrounded by 290 acres (120 ha) of protected woodland and fields. 26 Journal Square is a 55 m (180 ft) high-rise in Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. It was originally known as the Labor Bank Building. It was completed in 1928 and has 15 floors. As of 2009, it was the 23rd tallest building in the city. It is often considered the first skyscraper in Jersey City. The Beaux Arts building was designed by John T. Rowland. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 14, 1984, for its significance in architecture and commerce.
Kodak Tower is a 19-story skyscraper in the High Falls District of Rochester, New York, and is part of the Eastman Kodak Headquarters complex. It has a roof height of 340 ft (103.6 m) and stands 366 ft (111.6 m) with its antenna spire included. It was Rochester's tallest building for over 50 years from its completion in 1914 until the Xerox Square Tower surpassed it in the late 1960s. Today, it is the 4th tallest building in Rochester and is the 9th tallest building in New York state outside New York City.
The Gateway Center is a commercial complex in Newark, New Jersey. Located downtown just west of Newark Penn Station between Raymond Boulevard and Market Street; McCarter Highway runs through the complex. Skyways and pedestrian malls interconnect all of the office towers, a Hilton Hotel, the train station, and the Newark Legal Center. Built in phases in the late 20th century the complex comprises some of the tallest buildings in the city, two designed by Victor Gruen Associates and two by Grad Associates.

The Union County Courthouse is the county courthouse for Union County, New Jersey located in the county seat of Elizabeth. The 17 story, 238 ft (73 m) tall Neoclassical building, completed in 1931, is the tallest in the city. It is a contributing property to the Mid-Town Historic District. The courthouse building with 17-story tower was designed by the architect Oakley and Son and completed in 1931. The courthouse complex includes a 3-story portion, a 7-story annex building, built in 1927 a 5-story annex building, built in 1964 and an 8-story courtroom building, built in 1932. As of May, 2015, peregrine falcons had been nesting on the courthouse.
